The past few days, the wrestling world has been ablaze with speculations that former UFC and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is returning to the WWE at the biggest event in professional wrestling, WrestleMania XXVIII.

It has been reported that Lesnar has signed a one-year contract with the WWE and will work a schedule that's slightly more demanding than the Undertaker's. Lesnar has allegedly arrived in Miami for WrestleMania, so one question remains: Who does Lesnar have his sights set on?

Many wrestling fans and members of the Internet wrestling community are speculating that Lesnar will interfere in the main-event match of John Cena vs. The Rock.

While it is entirely possible that Lesnar will throw the proverbial wrench into the mix between Rock and Cena, Lesnar may have a bigger fish to fry upon his return to the WWE. That fish could be...The Undertaker.

During Lesnar's first run in the WWE he feuded with “The Deadman,” when Taker's persona at that time was the “American Bad Ass.” They had some fantastic matches, the most notable was their Hell in a Cell match at WWE No Mercy 2002. Lesnar and Undertaker fought in a grueling match, and the result was one of the bloodiest matches in WWE history.

Lesnar won the match and retained the WWE Championship, so Undertaker could seek some retribution for that bloody loss against Lesnar. Not to mention at UFC 121 on Oct. 23, 2010, the Undertaker was in attendance when Lesnar fought Cain Velasquez.

Taker and Lesnar exchanged words when Lesnar made his way to the Octagon, so on the surface these two superstars have some unfinished business.

If Lesnar does appear at WrestleMania XXVIII, he could try to cost The Undertaker his iconic streak that has been intact, for 22 years, in his match against Triple H.

One scenario could play out that Lesnar would interfere the Undertaker-Triple H Match by attacking Taker, Triple H would then take advantage and beat Taker, thus ending the streak and ending “The Era” that has been the backbone of this match-up.

The Undertaker would no doubt want brutal revenge against Lesnar for destroying the streak that has stood the test of time.

Another scenario could be that Lesnar interferes, attacks Taker, but miraculously Taker still ends up the winner. The streak stays intact, but Taker would still seek retribution against Lesnar for messing around in Taker's “Yard.”

Both scenarios would set up a great build for a future match with these two mammoth WWE superstars: Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker, most likely at WrestleMania XXIX. The result would be a big win for “The Phenom,” putting his streak at an impressive 21–0, if scenario No. 2 was used.

This of course is all on the condition that Lesnar does indeed appear at WrestleMania XXVIII, and if Lesnar decides immediately on who his next target will be. Rest assured that whoever his target is, they are indeed going to take, to quote Jim Ross: “A Trip to the Woodshed” when they tangle with Brock Lesnar.
