Which dream match would you choose

This is hypothetical, but let's just say the chance for a match vetween Cena and one of these 3 legends came up, each who "defined their era", who would you like Cena to face? Which would make the best dream match?
This has nothing to do with lliking Cenam or whatever. But he is the golden boy of this era, so a match with any of these 3 would be huge. Who would you prefer to see a match with:
-Austin
-Hogan
-Rock

I'm really hoping one day we can see a Cena vs Rock match. Firstly, it would make the best in-ring match. None of these men are great in the ring, but Cen and Rock are the best technically of all 3 IMO. The promos would be gold no matter which match you choose, but with the recent stuff between Cena and Rock, I think they would also be the best.
Which would be the dream match you'd most like to see?

Definitely John Cena vs. Stone Cold. I think out of those three guys, Cena would get boo'd the most if he fought Austin because Austin is the biggest face of all time and has really stuck with WWE the most out of those 3 choices. The Rock sold out, Hogan has family problems, Austin just comes in and comes out unlike the other two. Plus, Rock vs. Hogan had it's own feel, if one of them fought Cena I would see it as WWE trying to recreate Legend vs. Icon. So in order to create a new feel, it has to be two completely different guys, therefore Cena vs. Austin gets it.

Austin countering out of the FU landing on his feet into the Stunner would be insane.

I think it depends if you want a heel cena or a face cena.....

I guess my first choice would be heel cena vs face Austin....but a close second is face cena vs heel rock.

Cena vs Hogan doesn't do it for me. Hogan's just too old these days.

^^^Exactly, on the Hogan thing. He's just past his prime when it comes to wrestling in the ring, and even cutting a decent promo. The match would blow, the hype would only be there because ... it's Hogan. Not good enough, imo.

Cena V Austin would suck I think only because Austin's body can't do it. If he could, and this is adding to the hypothetical part - it'd be a great match. The promos would be pretty sick, but still the match nor the promos wouldn't top Cena/Rock.

Both men are still in great shape (obviously). Both tear up the crowd with promos, and both tear the crowd up with pops, cheers and boos. You could play this with Cena as a tweener, because let's face it - nobody's going to cheer him in this match. Rock could come back as a heel, but I think it'd just work better if he was face. This match gets my vote 100%.

Although the other two would be better in terms of wrestling, John Cena vs. Hulk Hogan would be something exceptional, something that is talked of for decades.

It would be so damn HUGE.

Why would it be so huge? He's so far past his prime, Hogan. Look back at Orton/hogan ... that match bombed because Hogan's body gave out underneath him. The match and all hype would be solely around the two big names - it won't be anything worth remembering.

Unless Cena has the guts to do what HBK did when he faced him, and made the match a joke, lol. I still remember that...

But yeah, Rock vs Cena easily. Hogan and Austin are cripples, while The Rock can still go in the ring as far as I know. Plus they actually have a little bit of history and story between them.

Second choice would be Hogan.

Another reason I want Cena vs Rock is beause Austin and Hogan have had numerous returns over the years. Rock hasn't wrestled since his last match (depending on what you say his last match was). But it would be so much more special to see a guy we literally haven't seen in years (in the wrestling side of things, of course)

I don't feel like going through my reasons again, they're in the "Cena challenges Rock" thread.
And as Mike just stated...Austin has been back numerous times. We haven't seen The Rock in years (the HOF last year doesn't count).
And we all know what a train wreck it is when Hogan tries to wrestle.

Rock vs Cena with out a doubt. Hogan cant walk let alone wrestle anymore he is to banged up and old now. Austin/Cena would be a good match although Austin will b limited to what he could do in the ring and taking certain bumps would factor to. So i think the best match from an in ring, Promo, entertainment point, etc would be the Rock/Cena IMO

Well 3 options and 3 matches.

Option 1 the money maker but a shit superman match up. NAH!! hogan vs cena

Option 2 The brawl which could be entertaining and good but it lacks that something. Cena vs Austin

Option 3 The good match up, good mic skills going into match, better wrestling and i think could make as much money as above two and be a good feud. At least they have that film type storyline going on. cena vs rock

cena vs austin would be the best in-ring work between the 3...

i dont like cena, But a cena vs rock doesn't really buy into me, Cena vs hogan dear god hogan vs orton was horrible..

But if i had to choose which one of these 3, it would be cena Vs austin..

But i wasn't never a fan of Rock in ring work it was pretty midcard/upper midcard level, with him having some much time off from wrestling and not much confident in it anymore i would doubt the 2 would work good.

While hogan side, he is basically all about the paycheck and getting the win.

But with Austin he will work for a good match, He won't blow the fans off..

Plus Austin use to pwn rock all the time, so Cena vs Austin would make a very nice fitting..
