When did The Rock first say "Finally" "It Doesn't Matter" and to stick something in your candy ass ?

I was watching old episodes of WWE (WWF at the time) RAW from late 1997 or early 98 when The Rock started to create The Rock gimmick after he was rejected earlier in the year as Rocky Maivia. In those episodes he spoke in the 3rd person like he always does now : "The Rock says this" "The Rock says that" etc. He was already saying "Know Your Role" and "Shut Your Mouth" doing The People's Elbow, The People's Eyebrow and The Rock Bottom and saying "If ya smell what The Rock is cooking" but he didn't say "Finally The Rock has come back to" (whatever city he's in at the time) the "It Doesn't Matter" thing to cut somebody off after asking a question or to take the (random object) and stick it up somebody's candy ass etc. When did he start saying those ?

I think when he came back from his acting run for the first time he started the "finally" stuff. I don't remember the first arena he did it in. As for the other stuff, I don't remember. I wasn't watching during the attitude era.

I agree. It was a way to open his segment after being away from the ring so long. But it really adds to his charisma.

No he did it when he was still wrestling, many times during The Attitude Era and even The Ruthless Aggression Era, I just can't remember the year he started doing it but it definitely wasn't when he was acting in the movies. It was way before that.

There were times he was away from the camera and started to do those "finally" quotes. That's how it started, dude.

That doesn't matter. I'm just showing him that the Rock's acting career didn't really take off till 2005. Yes, he was in a few movies before then but the "actor" Dwayne Johnson wasn't a big deal until shortly before the attitude era ended, which was 2008.
