I think this could be an interesting topic. Basically how it works is after each ppv people can give their thoughts on what a certain fighter should do next. (You can say who he should fight next, what weight class he should go to etc.)

So I'm going to start this off with Luiz Cane.
IMO this guy had a pretty good fight against a decent opponent in steve cantwell. Cane looked good in all 3 rounds and took the decision victory. If he wants a title shot eventually he needs to fight some top caliber fighters. Ideally for Cane he would either fight Keith Jardine or the winner of Vera/Hammill. A win over either of those fighters would give Cane some credibility.

I'd say kongo should fight against Gonzaga and if he wins that fight give the man a title shot. Honestly the thing that stopped him from getting a title shot was his loss to Heath Herring .

I don't think Kongo is on the same level as Gonzaga. I think Kongo should fight Herring again to finally prove himself title worthy. Then maybe fight Gonzaga.

I think it could go either way with that match but I'd have to go with Couture making an impact once more.

Don't sleep on Shane Carwin though, remember the guy is still undefeated and beat Gonzaga at UFC 96 at the time being. So I think Carwin is still in line for a future title shot instead of Kongo. If not I could see a fight between Kongo and Carwin for a heavyweight title shot.

Oh crap I totally forgot about Carwin. I think Carwin should fight Gonzaga and the winner of that should fight the winner of Couture and Nog. Sort of going out on a limb there, but that would be pretty cool to see and find the real No. 1 Contender.

^Gonzaga just faught carwin... UFC 96 Carwin won. :)

A Gonzaga vs Couture rematch would be something worth watching.

I meant Kongo vs. Gonzaga, sorry my mind drifts alot. Winner of Kongo vs. Gonzaga faces winner of Couture vs. Nog.

That is a good idea but where does this leave Shane Carwin?

If herring looses to Velazquez maybe feed him to Carwin

So what's next for Frank edgar. He beat Sean Sherk at 98 which is pretty huge.

I'd say have the winner of Guida/Sanchez fight Edgar to declare the number 1 contender.

He sure looked good. At the same time, Sherk looked pretty bad. But either way, he wa simpressive. Pretty much controlled the whole fight. Have no clue what's next for Edgar though.
