You know, he was supposed to guest host Monday Night Raw in the first/ second week of January. I've not been following WWE a lot these days but they haven't hyped his return or anything lately.

Did they drop it off or what?

Rock turned down doing Jan 11th because he was going to be on like Letterman, Leno, those type of shows to promote the Tooth Fairy. I'm sure he wouldn't want to promote The Tooth Fairy on WWE >_>

Yeah, it was due to "scheduling conflicts"...aka Rock realized he didn't give a shit about WWE or being affiliated with their current garbage product.

So basically it's off?

They're not going to have him on the show? :(

^Rumor is that he'll be on before Wrestlemania as guest host...

Probably won't happen though :(

It never was actually confimed, and nobody really said it would be in January. The closest we got to that was JR saying he expected the Rock to do it "early in 2010".

It's a damn shame we won't be seeing The Rock. Noumenon is probably right, Rock got a little nostalgic while taping that thing for Smackdown, then realized he didn't want to get involve with WWE.

There were very realiable reports from the dude who broke the Bret Hart news that the E was putting together a very nice offer to get Rocky to work WrestleMania, possibly against Cena. Makes some sense since they really haven't given Cena some direction as they have planted seeds for HBK, HHH, Orton and Legacy for the Road to WM. Doubt it will happen, but it's from a viable source.

Either way Rock can't decide if he wants to host Raw amidst a PR tour of his movie, he's got to fulfill those obligations first. I think he'll do a spot before WM, but am keeping my fingers crossed to see him wrestle, that goes down then WWE is sitting so pretty.Don't care what else is going on, Rock wrestling again>>>>EVERYTHING in wrestling, sans Austin wrestling again.

Rock's...or should I say Dwayne's...wrestling career rests solely in the hands of his PR people at this point. If they don't think it'll be beneficial for him to make an appearance, or if it comes down to him appearing on a late night show or wrestling, you better believe we won't be seeing Rock.

If he's gonna make movies, he needs to make cool movies like the first 3 you listed. I don't know why the heck he has been doing all these Disney/kiddy movies. And I agree....he does need to go back to the WWE because if he keeps this up, he's not gonna get any respect from people (especially die-hard wrestling fans).

I heard rumours that he will be hosting all summer.

If that happens to be true, I'm thinking they might make him GM for that timeframe.

He's bulked up again (filming FASTER) and looks to be in great shape. Hope to see him soon on Raw, not in a wrestling capacity but definitely catching someone with a Rock Bottom *cough*cena*cough* lol. He actually has a movie coming out later this year called The Other Guys that is supposed to be an action/comedy/drama that stars Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L. Jackson (as the Rock's detective partner), Will Ferrell and Eva Mendes and the movie he's filming now is with Billy Bob Thorton and he's supposed to be an ex-con out for revenge for his brother. Seems like he's stepping out of the kiddie roles for now so this may be the perfect opportunity for him to show up on Raw.

I'm still hoping he SHOCKS us and shows up on Raw this Monday (he has a tendency for showing up surprisingly while the E is in Cali).

Those movies sound awesome! I know he wants to do the kiddie movies for his own kids but he's obviously way better in action roles and comedy. Nice to see he's giving up the kid movies, at least for a little while.
