What To Do With "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero?

He's got talent, we know that. But what's next for him in TNA when he comes back from the shoulder injury?

His "The Pope" character is a ship that has sailed a long time ago and cannot be revamped.

Would you fire him or would you re-debut him with a completely new, different gimmick, persona?

Pope is pimpin' no more.

He can still be "D'Angelo Dinero". You just need to have him appear in some way that makes him a serious ass-kicker. He's got a ton of talent and it's time for his gimmick to reflect that.

As far as a total repackaging (new name, new backstory, new gimmick), I don't think that's necessary. Just change his gimmick up a bit and let him be a serious competitor again.

It felt like a holiday back when he returned to the TV for BFGS this past summer, but it turned out to be crapfest later with him only getting 7pts and injured.

He'd have to be humorless in this role, at least in the beginning. If he can pull that off, this would be a good idea, though.

The pope character is long passed, but he is a great wrestler IMO. Have him come back as Pope something, then drop pope altogether namewise. Give him a new deal, and have him lose to Morgan in a big match. That is what i want.
