The talk about Chris Jericho's gimmick change has now died down. A WWE staff member is saying that he has heard nothing ever since the first time he got the leak. It is said that Y2J being a babyface is better off than having a serious role which may be a potential heel. Even though the fact that Jericho will be back in the lineup will boost some ratings it will be better off him being a good guy. His return has been a long awaited one and it will definitely get the fans going at their shows. It is said that the time is here for people to forget about the tragic events of Chris Benoit's family and slowly move forward returning to normalcy.

He is coming back as a face. Yeah so whats your point? I think its a good idea bringing him in as a face depending on how long he is there then turing him a heel before he leaves. His last match he should play the face character. A smackdown superstar he will be also i think.

If he come's back & that's IF he does... the threres no chance of him coming back Heel. The fans will cheer people no matter what after they come back...

So i'd say put him on Smackdown although i really want him on Raw, put him in a long running feud with Edge & after that dies down maybe feud him with someone else. Once he start's to get that little bit stale again THEN turn him Heel.

I would assume its just leaked information that the WWE is discussing what to do with Jericho should they aproach him to return, which both Jericho and WWE have both said at this point they haven't. Which I believe is true, and as I stated before, and will state again, most likely the WWE is intrested in approaching him, but will not do so without some solid idea of how they will use him. The only way Jericho comes back sooner is if Chris comes to them. Which I'm not convinced Jericho is ready to do yet.

Y2J should come back and screw Cena in a world championship match.. Because face it Y2J lost in a your fired match against cena in 2005.. Then end it with Y2J winning the war.... Maybe something like that face or Heel doesn't bother me it's y2 freaking J....

No matter what, Jericho will retirn as a face and it is pretty much certain that he will return on Raw, as every other major superstar does (Rock, Hogan, Austin, etc.). It is fairly impossible to book Jericho as a heel upon his return as the fans have been waiting for his return ever since he left and the entire arena will pop like crazy when he does finally appear. However, there is no doubt in my mind that Jericho is a natural born heel and I would expect him to turn heel withi six months of his return.

An idea to book his return?

Royal Rumble 2008. 29 superstars are announced, one 'surprise entry.' Not even the IWC know who the #30 entrant will be. Lights go out. Y2J futuristic ball graphic comes on the screen and then BANG! Pyro goes off and there's Jericho with his back to everyone and arms out to his side. Jericho then goes on to win the Royal Rmble and faces Edge at Wrestlemania 24, in (somewhat of) a Dream Match.

People could argue that a younger guy should win the Rumble and therefore be 'given the ball' at Mania, but with the current state of the ME scene in WWE and the limited amount of true ME stars, this move would be necessary, as Jericho can be the top guy in the company, given the chance, and help WWE raise its game.

Jericho coming back at RR is a great idea, but I think IWC would quickly spoiled it as announcing a surprise entrance would be a easy guess(just say random names, and the most possible would be Jericho, Lesnar, Goldberg).

But to 'throw people off', Jericho could announce on his site that he has suffered an injury and show an image of him on crutches. it is well documented that Jericho loves using his site to create controversy and that (like the time when TNA announced a major signing and Jericho put the image on him doing his signature pose with the TNA logo behind him). This would cause the IWC to think it's Lesnar or someone, and then when Jericho appears, it would be a major shock.

It could work only if it is in Jericho's page, because if they post it on WWE.com, well, pretty much spoiled.

As for the plan of returning on RR 08, it would be pretty cool. I would really dig HHH going psycho for the World Title before RR, then at the Royal Rumble Match HHH is on the last three and Jericho comes out as the final entrance. Jericho wins and challenges Edge, but HHH comes out saying he was supposes to win, so at NWO we have HHH vs Jericho. Jericho wins and goes to WM facing Edge, and HHH goes main eventing WM for Raw's side.

the guys on Live Audio Wrestling were commenting on how Jericho's answers on Larry King last week were a little more conservitive then they were the week before on Nancy Grey. This lead to them speculating that he either has signed or is in the process of signing with the WWE again. lol
