We really need a CM Punk/Bruno Sammartino segment.
After what Punk said about being a superior world champion compared to the legends of the past and even calling out Bruno in particular, it would be magical to see a confrontation between them at Wrestlemania. Would really work whether he faced Undertaker or Rock and Cena for the WWE Championship, but would obviously work much, much better with the latter because of the belt and the triple threat being the headline of the show. Punk is giving a promo either right before the match or somewhere in the middle of the show, and then from the right side of the screen, in walks Bruno on camera. (We can't see him at first, but we can see that someone or something has caught Punk's eye for a few moments.) They exchange brief words, having to do with Bruno saying he respects Punk and that if he truly wants to cement himself as top tier with the likes of him and other guys of the past, go out and win the belt by beating two of the biggest stars ever on the biggest show of the year and begin another record title reign.
Punk can say he began his record title reign in MSG, the same place Bruno sold out so many times all those years ago. Punk can then say just performing in the main event of Wrestlemania (much less winning) alone makes him better than Bruno since it's something he never did. Bruno wishes Punk luck, and Punk says he won't need it, or something alone those lines.
