Apologies for the random serious thread (can't imagine that'll last much longer than the OP), but I was just sitting here, not doing my English essay in spite of the fact I need it in for tomorrow:)badass:), and I was curious tbh.

What makes you get up every morning and want to work/get educated/sell drugs?

I know it is a long way away but I've always wanted to some day have kids so I guess for me it's the desire to give them the best possible life they can have. I've been given a lot of opportunities thanks to my own parents hard work so I don't want my children to suffer because of my own laziness. Also before that I guess it's the same but just for giving myself all the chances I can possibly get.

It's weird, because I can almost see that but from a completely different perspective. With my Mum having me when she was only 16, I always feel like I need to make a decent life for myself to make her efforts worthwhile. Find it quite interesting ashley that you're planning on having kids already, they're the last thing on my mind at this point to be honest.

Same as Solidus. The only reason I do anything is the hope that it'll further me towards money.

People say money doesn't bring you happiness, but IMO that's bullshit. You can have as many friends/family around you, but having money gives you the freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want. Having friends/family around you doesn't.

I don't know that I'm planning it tbh, and I don't even know how old I want to be when I have them, all I know is that at some point in my life I am going to have kids, for some reason I always get the image of taking them to their first football game (they better support Boro) is something I always think would be ridiculously cool, plus I've always had young kids around me (not in the same way as you Ryan) in my cousins and I've watched them grow so I guess it would be cool to watch my own kids grow like I have for my parents.

Or it could just be that I want someone to suffer with me supporting Boro.

Regarding this debate, I always think of it like this. What is it you do now, and want to do in the future, that satisfies your enjoyment levels and makes you happy? Currently, everything I do now that makes me happy has nothing to do with money (unless you include things like paying for the xbox fees etc.).

Money. It's all I ever want.

I don't many will associate with this, but I honestly don't think freedom and money would necessarily make me happy. I wish I could be the same. I'm strange tbh, I think if I earned a lot of money I would end up getting depressed at the lack of challenge and fear of fucking up in life.

You know what would be absolutely hilarious? If Molly were to be raped.

Lmao taking my kids to their first Hibs game - as some sort of punishment for something ofc - is one of the only reasons I'd ever really want kids lol. But it's cool reading that nonetheless, and if I'm allowed near kids again I'll come visit them one day.

AJ Lee is my role model and she inspires me to do a lot of things... :)
