Since the brand split and also currently what is the more prestigious title?

WWE Championship
or
Universal Title

This has been vexing me.
Here is how I look at it.

When the split happened: WWE

When Brock got the Universal: Universal

Currently I would say Universal because Brock held it and he is still wrestling.

Based on how WWE is pushing the belts, the UT is bigger. But, in reality, the WWE title is bigger based on history and stars who made it great.

The WWE title.

The Universal title was a brand split creation designed to look
good on The Demon Balor for marketing & merchandising...
but Balor was injured & its simply been a red replica of the
actual important title since then.

Remember when Jericho had the crowds cheering for paper
on a clip board more than the Universal title? I do.

The WWE title is much more prestigious as it's lineage can be traced back to the first World title. When the WWWF broke from the NWA, they did so because they recognized Buddy Rogers as the true champion. They gave him the belt. So technically, although the belt's history itself only goes back to 1963, it was created as the direct result of a dispute over who the World Champion happened to be.

The Universal championship was just created out of the blue.

The WWE title obvioisly has the history but if we are comparing the 2 belts just from the timeline from when the Universal Title was created then it the prestige obvioisly goes to the Universal Title. First off, its on Raw, which is the A-show. Secondly, Brock Lesnar holding the Universal title made the belt mean more because it became a special attraction, like Brock Lesnar. It automatically got pushed to the main event on the card and was the money fight. Since the Universal Title was created, the WWE title has played second fiddle.

The WWE title is more prestigious, even though the Universal title is treated better at the moment. It's just like the WHC, at first it was treated better, but they quickly got over it and made it a joke. Same will happen to the Universal title in a year or two. It is a product of right now, while the WWE title will forever be timeless

I was talking about when it was created and currently.
