I seem to recal having one of these before, it may have been long dead like four or so pages ago or I might be getting mixed up with another forum but this imo is a fun thread so like Ill start one.

-- I start by stating something that happened in the history of wrestling and what if? the tables had turned and things had changed, you answer as best as you can and give one for someone else to do. Pretty simple eh? :schnauz:

Ok so What if: Mister Kennedy never got injured after winning the MITB at WM 23, would he be champion right now of Raw? Would he have headlined WM 24, or was he not ready for it, and would have losed the MITB to Edge anyway?

He would have beaten Undertaker instead of Edge. That much seems certain.

Beyond that I would've seen him as a short term champion. The guy is just too goddamned stale to be champ for very long.

Yeah, I've seen this on another forum.

But if Kennedy didn't get injured, he would have cashed in at the next mania (as he said he would) and would have been champ. That probably would have been a test run and if he was good, he'd be atleast 2 time world champ by now. He wouldn't have lost the case to case because he would have never fought him for it, cause I read the only reason Edge got it was because they thought Kennedy's injury was worse than it really was.

What if... Jeff never got his 2nd suspension and went on to win MitB? When he cashed in, would he have won the title? Would his reign be anything like it was?

Well if Jeff never go his second suspension, he probably would have won the MITB instead of Mr. Kennedy and would have been the champion a lot earlier then Armageddon 2008.

What if: Chavo Guerrero was given the 'Eddie Push' instead of Rey Mysterio having a WM headine and Rumble win because of Eddie's death. What would happen if that spot was given to Chavo?

Chavo would have won the world title, and kept it for a similar time to Rey, wouldn't have made much difference, tbh, oh and you got this from the BTB section, Levi made it.

That's the MitB that CM Punk won, not Kennedy. Punk was 24, Kennedy was 23... I think.

But on to the scenario, Chavo would have had the same title run that Mysterio had. But I would wonder if the fans would get behind Chavo like they did Rey? I hated that Rumble and WM just because Rey won it.

What if... What if mondern day tactics took place when The Rock debuted and he was fired when he was Rocky Mavia? Since now a days, when you can't get over, you're either back in development, jobbing, or fired. And since the didn't get behind him, how would that have changed sports entertainment?

btw, this will be my last one so that others can give it a go instead of the same guys going back and forth.

In regards to this thread though there needs to be more discussion. There's a lot more to explore than just one single answer will reveal. So later on I'ma go back over the thread and provide counter points to all the 'What If' answers.

WCW would have ran for five years, until they'd evidentlly try to reinspire old flames with Monday Night Wars, then coincidentally getting beat by the WWE much like in real life.

What if The Monteral Screw Job never occured, what would the relationship between Bret Hart, and Vince McMahon had been like? Or the relationship between Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels?

REAL fans, such as myself would've been less pissed but wwe wasn't gonna sell as many t-shirts as they did with rey being champ. other than that, its the same.

cant give a really intelligent opinion because i was never really a "smark" who used to read internet news and shit back then. all i did was watch the shows. watching DVDs about it is not the same as living it so i dont really know.

if you want a vague answer though, i'd say it wasn't gonna have any major effect. shit was gonna get out of control anyway. so if anything was gonna change, it's gonna be the time of the fall. which would also have a minor(or maybe major) affect on wwe's storylines. i dunno..
