I never really sit down and think of time. I am the type to worry about the future too much which leaves me little room to enjoy the present. I need to stop that. Some people worry about the past.
I been part of this forum for a year and 8 months or so. I learned a lot about people, I likely would have never learned anywhere else. This forum is filled with people from all walks of life, all over the world and while I am not big on technology, it shows there is some good to it. I learned to be patient, how to be myself, how to stand up for what I believed in without hating on other people in the process. I have come to know quite a few of you on here, and every single of one of you is so uniquely different. Just three years ago, I wouldn't have been able to have a kind conversation with someone who openly bashes my beliefs, now it doesn't bother me at all. I am able to enjoy people from all walks of life, beliefs and origins. I have never been a social person but this forum helped me to really understand people and be patient with them. It has helped me to take a step back and understand that we all have struggles in life and life in it's self is not about me or what I do or don't do, but how I effect the people around me, how I perceive life as a whole. Time certainly changes things if you are willing to allow yourself to learn from it.
What has time taught you?
Not necessarily on the forum, but just with life in general. What have you learned over the last year or two that has changed you?
