That's my favourite song by them. I suppose like most bands you move with the current product. Take a look at bands such as Linkin' Park. Went from Rock to now more pop and electronic.

They reformed again in 2011 after they stopped in 2008. Had two hit songs IIRC. But most of them are going solo atm.
