He will carry over the "I Hate Legends" attitude over to SD and get all up on Taker's nuts.

Here is looking REALLY far ahead and assuming a lot but I think it could be a loss to Taker at next Mania which sparks a return of Y2J. I think there is still some things to be done with this whole honest persona. I think it would work great in a title program with CM Punk....questioning Punks morals and all.
It would work great in a program with Rey... saying everything is handed to him because he's small and...::gasp:: his friend died.
With a tweener Edge he can call him a broken man, pathetic...etc etc.
Undertaker with the obvious washed up legend angle. "I beat HBK too, numerous times, not just once...you're nothing special..." etc etc.

Bottom line, we'll see Y2J again, just not yet. There is a lot to do with this gimmick as of right now. And sorry to bring it up....but just as we all knew we'd see deadman Taker once again...it's the same thing.

^I think it would be good to see Jericho bring up the whole Rey-Eddie thing, but I can't see it happening. Jericho's been quite edgy recently in what he's said and done but I don't think he'll go there, especially as they're trying to make the show PG-13.

I don't think we'll ever see the old Jericho back. It would defy everything he has done with his new gimmick, a gimmick that has given him tons of success, maybe even more than his prior.

I can agree with that to some extent. Sure, he's gained success in the form of what was probably his best run as champion to date...blown most others away on the mic and successfully ran an incredible saga with HBK. However, I think most wrestling fans are probably a bit turned off by the gimmick. I'm sure Jericho's return brought back a number of old fans to their TV's... I know quite a few of my buddies it did it for.
The guy simply oozes talent and charisma. Moving him to Smackdown does bring about plenty of new people for him to try his new gimmick on, but after that runs its course...what then? A change back to a more Y2J'esque personality would open even more doors for him. I'm not saying we need to see im wandering through an arena trying to find the entrance or throwing temper tantrums.
Jericho is just one of those people who are too good as a face to keep him as a heel for the rest of his career. And you cannot tell me this current gimmick would work for him as a face.

I can't beleive I'm reading that..... Maybe not yourself, but the majority of peeps on here were saying the exact opposite when hie was face at the begining of his return run.

I agree, i think the Y2J persona is dead and will be for a good while yet. He can feud with pretty much any of the faces on smackdown, most points have already been made but:

Taker - furthering legend angle, ending the streak/ hbk
Jeff - "you do anything to suck upto these hypocrites, would have more success if you weren't a screw up" etc
Punk - questioning his morals, over mitb (you beat me to it last year on the ladder and lost the title, i deserved it! etc)

I think taker is likely over the summer/towards mania. i would love to see a proper feud with punk as they can put on top matches and we never really got a good feud last year after the cage match, punk went after the tag titles instead.

That was because they tried pushing the code thing onto him. Just bring back the 1997-1999 Y2J Chris Jericho.

Exactlly, the Y2J we saw last year was a shell of his former persona.
