What are some of the greatest title reigns in the last 10 years?

Besides some of the ones already mentioned:

- Bobby Roode's TNA Championship reign, all of it was great. And Aries winning it off of him was one of the best feel-good moments of that year.

- Kevin Owen's NXT Title reign, probably the best NXT title reign to date.

- Christian's World Title Reign, I know it only lasted a day, but it's not so much about the reign as it was about the following feud with Orton. The heel turn was a slow burn, none of it was rushed. And it was just a great rivalry between the two.

- AJ Style's IWGP Title reign, one of the main reasons I feel like he even got signed to the WWE. His match streak was on fire, and his character was just so good.

- Chris Jericho's World Title reign, his heel character was damn good. And him vs HBK always make for some of the best storytelling you'd see on a WWE screen.

- Jay Lethal's current ROH title reign, no doubt about it.

Can't argue with any of those really. Bobby Roode's TNA reign is what brought me back to TNA for a while when after I previously left when Hogan got involved.

Done so well WWE straight ripped it while it was still going. Cena vying to show that his title meant more than Rollins' wasn't actually bad either, but they scrapped it way too quick. Would've liked to see possible contenders choose which title they wanted to go for, and see how much Rollins could do with so much time. Guess it might've been best they didn't stick with it though, with their heavier schedule and all.

Maybe for some people but the reason the Hogan era didn't work for me was because I was fanatical about what TNA was beforehand. I REALLY liked the pre Hogan product. And it changed more than I wanted it to. If I had never watched TNA before Hogan, I may not have disliked it as much. But I watched TNA from the very beginning.. I used to get those weekly PPVs and followed then on Fox Sports and even kept following them when they didn't have a TV deal before Spike. When Hogan came around, in my view, they changed the very spine of the company and I just couldn't watch it anymore. Hell, Ric Flair, my all time favorite was there, and I couldn't even watch it for him because it wasn't the company I knew anymore and hasn't been since.

So even the good moments couldn't be good to me.

But that just says more how good Bobby's reign was that it got me to watch again.

Started watching near the end of '06 myself, and it was the only wrestling product I even watched after a little while. I do agree that the Hogan era had a ton of cons, with Team Flair vs Team Hogan, Immortal, and bringing in Brooke being only a few. But there was a lot of good moments to go with it, maybe not enough to keep someone guaged into it every week. 2012 itself was almost flawless, but we already know Roode had a lot to do with that.

Like I said, I'm not denying the Hogan era was one of the worst TNA has gone through(with the exception of right now), but there's still quite a few good things I can pick out from it.

orton shud av won at summerslam 2007. he was ready to be the premier performer lads. they flushed money down the toilet that nite. the business had never reciovered. wen he got the belt they didnt book him rite. it was too l8.

Not 10 years, but...Triple H's collective runs as World Heavyweight Champion from 2002-2005 should be mentioned.

The era, in general, is looked down upon due to the blatant hindering of talent on Triple H's part, but when you look back retrospectively it did bring about a lot of great moments. The main thing that comes to mind is the push of Batista and Randy Orton. Arguably, two of the most popular WWE stars of all time got their rub from Triple H. Orton and Triple H's feud wasn't too shabby and can be considered to have had it's roots at WrestleMania 20. The story of a jealous teacher who's students have surpassed him, was something new for the WWE. Losing to Benoit, and failing to beat him on 3 separate occasions. Having Orton come out as the man that was able to beat Orton, without Evolution, twice in a row. Orton was genuinely over, and even got a good pop at Summer Slam, despite beating Benoit in his home country. The sad part was that Orton lost to Triple H, and was really just relegated to being a pawn in the larger Faces vs. Evolution storyline.

All of this was the roots to Batista's homecoming. The whole playing Batista to go after JBL was a good way to shed light on both brands. destroyed Triple H at WrestleMania 21, and even beat him at his own game, in the Hell in a Cell. It was not just a breath of fresh air in terms of a new champion, but was the end of the Reign of Terror. Despite spending the next year or so locked in a god awful DX reunion and McMahon storyline, he did end up getting another run at the Main Event with a good run in SmackDown. His run gave Jeff Hardy the big rub, gave Edge something to do and even pushed Kozlov to the Main Event. It did a lot of harm in the short term, but had some pretty good effects.

John Cena's recent US title reigns, puts over talent while making the champ look strong
Mark Henry's WHC run in 2011, it was a hell of a comeback for him
Edge's WWE title run in 2006, he had a fucking sex celebration, now that was the real rated R superstar
CM Punk's WHC Heel run in 2009, it made him a crazy bad guy and set up a great feud with Jeff Hardy
CM Punk's one year WWE title run from 2011 to 2013 of course deserves recognition, made him fucking awesome, just how he lost it so Rock and Cena can go on as the main event again was sickening
Daniel Bryan's short 3 WWE Ttile reigns, they were all feel good moments that Vince hated but we loved
The New Day's current WWE tag title run, i've never seen a more over team than these guys right now and they are great at the moment, the tag division has been hitting a lot of high notes

Before proceeding to give him a clean win over Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista at WrestleMania 30 for the WWE Championship? The same suits that named him the face of the Intercontinental title, a division/title that has been synonymous with the best workers and hardest workers in the company? He had a great run. Ironically, his marks seem to be the only ones that aren't able to see that.
