Was Bryan/Show/Henry in the steel cage at RR'12 a botched finish?

I have just watched the triple threat match in a steel cage for the WHC between Daniel Bryan, Big Show and Mark Henry which took place at Royal Rumble in 2012. To remind you, Bryan retained by escaping the cage and Big Show's arm during this spot:

It was a very abrupt and anti-climactic finish, and before they went up there it didn't feel like the match was ending. Also, the match ran 9 minutes in total?! Compare that to the 16 minutes given to ADR v Show, which also opened the RR in 2013, for the WHC. I think Big Show was meant to pull him back up tbh.

Mark Henry was on his way out with an injury iirc so that would account for the short match length. His chairs match at TLC was also only a few minutes.

I think the cage match ended as planned because Henry was "knocked out" from the KO punch. If the match was supposed to continue, Henry wouldn't have been knocked out and unconscious.
