A report released by TMZ.com revealed The Ultimate Warrior aged 54, died from a massive heart attack according to the autopsy conducted by a medical examiner.

The official cause of death is being reported as "Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease" which is more commonly known as heart disease and thus his the examiner has ruled "natural" causes with no drugs nor alcohol directly involved.

This news makes his final speech made to a New Orleans crowd on last week's Monday Night Raw even more ominous...

Warrior said: "No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe a final breath and if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them bleed deeper and something larger than life then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalised.

"In the back I see many potential legends. Some with warrior spirits and you will do the same for them. You will decide if they lived with the passion and the intensity. So much so that you will tell your stories and you will make them legends as well. You are the Ultimate Warrior fans and the spirit of Ultimate Warrior will run forever."

Beat me to posting this. I find it weird that it was a natural death when he looked well at RAW, guess it was out of the blue.

Atherosclerosis already puts a huge strain on the heart, maybe the excitement of it all was way too much for his heart to take. I suspected it would be heart related.

Something was wrong with his heart, you say? :robbie:So that's why he was clutching his chest when he collapsed and (later) died.

When Warrior breathed heavily after his promo in New Orleans you can tell something was wrong, I believe Warrior knew he was gonna die the next day, people are said to know when they are gonna die.

Makes me wonder if the appearance on RAW pushed his heart over the edge??? Trying to shake the ropes like in his heyday and all. RIP man, for only being in the WWE(or WWF) for a shorter time than many other HoFers, you made a HUGE impact not only in the business but around the WORLD.

Not everybody knows they are going to die. And even if they say they do- they could just be voicing their fear and not fact.

Damn  At least it was natural though. At least he didn't turn to drugs or any stupid shit at the end of his days.

Perhaps just the excitement from being back at a WWE event helped his heart go over the edge. Who knows? How tragic. At least we KNOW that he and the WWE came to good terms before his death. Still though, it sucks and is very ironic. You know there are gonna be people saying he was murdered or something, you just know it.
