This will be War Machine's first fight since November 2011. He was removed from two tournaments due to time behind bars and a leg injury. He was supposed to return last season to kick off the debut on Spike TV.

Avena returns to Bellator after knocking Lenny Lovato out in his first appearance for the promotion. Before Bellator, Avena was 3-3 for the WEC.

Bellator 96 comes from the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, OK. Former Strikeforce champions Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal and Renato Sobral are expected to compete in a four-person tournament on the card.

I'm pretty stoked for this card actually, always good to see King Mo in action and Babalu will probably bring some viewing pleasure to the card as well. War Machine is just an absolute psycho so it all seems pretty well!
