Alan Belcher made it seem highly-likely that he is headed to Brazil for a meeting with Vitor Belfort later this year at UFC 153 via his Twitter account Monday night. Well, it appears "The Phenom" is feeling much the same.Belfort believes that the No. 1 contender spot should be on the line between himself and Weidman. Silva front-kicked Belfort out cold in their most recent meeting earlier this year.

Guys I hope to joe silva and ask to fight with the top contender weidman here in brasil so I think this is the fight that will credence me to a title fight so that is what happened. I want the belt but I am not desperate I think weidman is the next for the belt, but Anderson silva deserve to see who is next. So let's make this fight the next contender belfot vs weidman the next contender for anderson silva.

With Weidman, Belfort, Belcher, Michael Bisping and a host of others all pushing for a shot at Silva, it seems as if the UFC will put together some sort of mock tournament to decide a future contender

I think the Belfort/Weidman fight would be pretty good. Alan Belcher has been hinting on twitter though that he's going to be fighting Belfort at UFC 153 so we'll have to wait and see.

Surely Bisping would get a shot soon, especially before Belfort gets another chance especially since Belfort was destroyed by Silva.

Bisping keeps getting close but as soon as he gets close he falls. Bisping will get a shot soon but I don't think it'll be before Belfort despite Belfort being on the receiving end of KO of the year.
