From Rajah.com

Denver, Colorado's 9News.com reports that aside from Monday's Raw no longer taking place from Denver, WWE has also canceled Sunday's Loveland, Co house show as well as Tuesday's Smackdown/ECW tapings from Colorado Springs.

-- Vince McMahon spoke to 9News and once again seems to be considering legal action against Denver Nuggets and Pepsi Center owner Stan Kroenke. McMahon said:

"It's really unfortunate because if he were just a regular business man and picked up the phone and said, 'Vince, you know, we're throwing you out but I want to make it right, what can we do?' I never heard from Kroenke, I don't know if anyone else has either, by the way, he's somewhat of a Howard Hughes guy I understand. I think our company has been damaged severely from a financial standpoint and from a psychological standpoint as well. You don't treat people the way Kroenke's management treated us. I'm not a litigious kind of guy, but quite frankly when we have a contract and we have over 10,000 tickets sold and you just say: we're out, and we're not going to do anything for you, you know we're not going to make any restitution. We may pay for your additional expenses, that's it. There could very well be a lawsuit down the road."

-- In related news, TMZ.com has picked up the news that Raw is moving to Los Angeles and writes, "Vince isn't moving out of the kindness of his heart, he and the Nuggets struck a settlement -- but the terms of that deal haven't been made public yet."

Vince is on the rampage. Never come between Vince, and his revenue. Seriously I hope Vince sues the pants off this guy. Vince is in the right this time, he needs to make an example.

Publicity stunt imo.

Can you Americans settle anything without someone getting sued? It was just a mistake. Get over yourself, and be the bigger man.

That's just the way it is man. America is run by the almighty dollar. Forget the In God We Trust thing, God don't make you rich. This Nuggets guy attacked Vince's monstrous wallet, so Vince will fire back. BTW we Americans ain't all bad...just everybody wants to get rich...anyway you can get away with will do. Rob a bank, sue somebody, work for it. The reason we want money is because the rich are the only people who matter anymore. I know I'd like to be rich...I've been trying all kinds of things(all legal...so far) trust me. Our economy sucks right now, people are losing jobs, people are suffering. It's nearly impossible to survive in this country without money these days, so you do what you have to.

G'waaaaarn, Vince!!!

Seriously though...

Publicity stunt imo.

That part may be true, but....

I share similar sentiments to you regarding the litigation culture which unfortunately our (the UK's) society seem to be 'importing' from the US, but to be fair it's hardly a mistake of 'being served a cheese burger when you ordered a big mac' proportions... At the level of business environment in which WWE operates you can't be seen to get treated like they have been.

Vince didn't get where he is today, but rolling over and allowing himself to be 'bitched out'.

Think of it from another perspective...

Ok, they can just reschedule a TV date for that town to keep the fans happy, but that could just have easily been the venue booked for a PPV.... As a ticket-holding fan, imagine how pissed you'd be.

Vince can't risk leaving the fans with the impression that he'll not 'fight their corner'.

Yes, I see it from Vince's perspective, but it hardly threatens the grand scheme of WWE. They're not going to go out of business because of this hiccup. It's just a mistake. Obviously, it's going to lose Vince money. Obviously, there are going to be disgruntled Denver fans. But, it's not at all Vince's fault, and it was the grand fuck up of whoever scheduled the Playoffs and the WWE on the same day. I just think he should let this blow over. He's almost acting like this happens alot.

Good. As he should. Why wouldn't he? The guy fucked him out of a date for Raw, so he should pay to make up for it. Not that big of a deal.

Its probably a big deal to Vince because to my knowledge he hasn't had to deal with something like this before. I don't think he should sue but like you guys said, never get between Vinnie Mac and is revenue

^Again, why shouldn't he sue? Do you know how much money he lost there, over na arena he had had booked for months? That's pretty much the definition of why someone would sue someone.

People, do you understand what contractual obligation is? If I sign a contract with another party and I don't fulfill my end of the contract, whatever it may be, legal action can be pursued. This guy's arena had a contract with WWE which the arena breached. WWE, as stated, had already sold 10,000+ tickets. Do you think they can sell that many in less than a week for RAW in LA? I doubt it. SO what's probably going to end up happening is the tickets will be a lot cheaper and some may even be free. WWE is losing a lot of money over this. It may not even dent their overall profit, but that doesn't change the fact that this guy failed to hold up his end of the contract and lost them money. If you had a lot of money would you mind if people destroyed some of it just because you have more? Sorry, but that's bullshit. Vince has every right, reason, and justification to sue and I don't blame him one bit.

this will piss off Batista, as he wont get his rematch :shifty:

Seriously, I think those kind of things actually happen but the attitude of that guy progressed this that leaded Vince to try the court.

I blame the junk food America provide these days.

No. No we can't.

Kroenke should be lucky it's just Vince suing him and not the 10,000 fans who bought tickets way in advance.

EWrestlingNews said:
The Denver Post is reporting that fans who bought tickets to the previously scheduled Monday RAW in the Pepsi Center can now get refunds or exchange their tickets for the 8/7 WWE RAW house show at the Denver Coliseum.

WWE held a press conference last night about the Pepsi Center fiasco. Shane McMahon said that WWE would not pursue legal actions against Kroenke Sports and The Pepsi Center.

The reason WWE had to move Tuesday's Smackdown taping from Colorado Springs to LA is because with RAW now being moved to LA, it would be too difficult and expensive to move the production trucks, ramps, etc. from LA to Denver in 24 hours.

World Wrestling Council announced at a press conference yesterday that some WWE Divas would be appearing at their July Anniversario weekend, but no names were mentioned. However, it was announced that Carlito, Primo, MVP and Umaga would be working the weekend.

Well I was gonna ask why did they move Smackdown also but that makes sense. So will Colorado Springs people get anything back as they have been screwed also. Maybe they will get to keep them for a later show also or refund there money. Who knows.

also found this

Vince McMahon appeared on ESPN's Sports Center last night and said Mr. McMahon will be at Raw to "compete or at least confront" Mr. Stan Kronenke," owner of the Denver Nuggets and the Pepsi Center. McMahon said they plan to have "a lot of fun" Monday, so expect Mr. Kroenke to be the butt of many jokes on the show.

Any video of this I would love to see it. Anyway so if Vince is gonna be on TV are they gonna have anything with him and Orton also I mean it be kinda stange to have Vince there and nothing happens with Orton. But about the report. Wonder what will end up going on.

the reason for moving the other shows on Sunday and Tuesday makes perfect scense. They only have 1 tv truck. To have that truck drive down to LA is added to these new expenses. There is not enough time to drive back up to Colorado to do the next night. Not to mention the talent themselves, to trave from Colorado to LA then back? The WWE has lost a lot of money already because of the Monday mix up. They would lose much more if they only changed the Monday date.
