In a new podcast, Vince Russo said that he contacted both POP TV’s Bradley Schwartz and Destination America behind TNA’s back to get a consultant job to fix what he thought was wrong with iMPACT! Wrestling. Both times, he claimed that the networks didn’t know what a good wrestling show was, so he decided to help out and show them what good wrestling looked like. He said POP TV “sold a bill of goods” when they acquired TNA’s programming and he could “fix” it. Neither network hired him.

Disco Inferno, a guest on the show, pointed out that it was a jerk move for Russo to go behind TNA’s back. Russo claimed he did it because he had friends in TNA and he knew the show would be cancelled if he didn’t come in to fix things. Disco Inferno said that Russo also offered to be a consultant for Lucha Underground and he’s trying to get someone to pay him to watch and critique wrestling shows. He said Russo was a heel.

Vince Russo would know what a dying wrestling program looks like. :aids:

Glad Disco gave it to him straight. That was a dick move, especially since he was one of the reasons TNA got booted off Spike.

Russo said that people are claiming he was going/planning to sabotage TNA?

I'm sure, if he didn't intend to, he would do it by accident, anyways.

Lol, seems like best case scenario for a promotion that can only get any buzz doing low budget Youtube skits between the Hardys

Russo should just fuck off by now. He's got little to nothing good to contribute to wrestling, especially when he's the reason why promotions fail.

@The ReagMaster - Why do you love Vince Russo so much? I'm not trying to provoke; just itching for a good debate.
