Vince McMahon noted that he is concerned about injuries at this weekend’s Extreme Rules PPV.
“Because of the risk of injury, I will be crossing my fingers until #ExtremeRules is over on Sunday,” McMahon tweeted Friday afternoon.
This follows a recent “severe concussion” to Dolph Ziggler during a ladder spot at the television taping two weeks ago. Ziggler would have been positioned to take bumps in a ladder match at the Extreme Rules, but has since then been pulled from the match due to his concussion.

Who isnt worried about injuries? Injuries have been high in the recent months: Rock, Cena, Sin Cara, Ziggler and Mysterio to name a few.

Instead of being worried Vince, actually put time and effort into an exciting midcard so you always have back up stars. If they lost Cena, then HHH would have to be on RAW weekly to be the major face they need as CM Punk is out.

I'm more concerned about all the house shows they work and all the gimmick matches on the house show circuit (have they toned that down any?). Really it only takes one misstep or slight botch to cause an injury, Christian getting hurt routinely sliding under a clothesline comes to mind.

There's more risk with gimmick matches, obviously. But when guys like the Shield are working 4 shows a week it's stunning more injuries don't occur.
