Vince McMahon and the 20 Million Dollars!

Floyd "Money" Mayweather, alright he is one great boxer as Vince McMahon says. But 20 Million$ for just one WrestleMania match and 5 short hand promo's? Is this a joke or something?

Vince McMahon was there on Larry King Live as well with Mayweather and several other superstars. When Larry asked Floyd how much he got to do this, he said $20 Million and Larry (shocked) asked McMahon "You pay him 20 Million??" McMahon responded: "Well, he is a great entertainer and everybody is pretty excited about this, there is no one who can do what Mayweather can do" Uhh... yeah right!

I mean, Hulk Hogan got $7 Million for his last match! And Mayweather gets 20 Million? McMahon said he wanted a David vs. Goliath match. So what? Rey Mysterio would have fitted as well, even if he wanted a boxing vs. Wrestling. 20 Million is just toooo much looking at Mayweather's mic skills and popularity. He can't even speak and they are paying him so much! :34:

If you actually watched the show, you would have heard VKM kind of stutter and say well he could get that much. So in short, no Mayweather is not getting 20 mil. Mayweather said that he may never go back to boxing and stay with the WWE, which I would assume is bs. So basically I think they're going to say that if Mayweather stays with the company he could get 20 mil, but he is not getting 20 mil for just Mania. I think we should all know that McMahon is a smarter business man than that.

Yeah i agree i think its just a big work to get ppl talking and purely build hype for mania. I dont think that vince is that stupid with his money hell i doubt even his main event superstars earn any were near that for doing 6 ppv apperances. But its doing the job because thats all ppl are talking about the 20 million and while they talk about that they talk about mania

Yea it'd be crazy to think he's getting that much, I'm pretty sure everyone on the roster would have a heart attack if he was making that much for 1 PPV. The bonus for a superstar appearing at Mania is like 40 grand or something like that, so for him to be paying that much would be ridiculous imo.

^Yea it was actually a very akward interview if you watch it. They kind of bounced in and out of kayfabe. Cena told HHH to watch out cuz he was coming for him and stuff. But King asked them if the matches were pre-determined and things like that. I can't really blame the wrestlers, it was more King's fault for asking the questions. In that setting though it's tough not to break kayfabe because it's on cnn which is an actual news show opposed to a wrestling show where they probably wouldn't have to break kayfabe that much if at all.

Good point but this is complete bull that Mayweather is getting 20 million because if you could think that alot of WWE stars would probably leave the WWE if He where and there is no way Vince would do that enmd of story.

^Yea. Even at the mention of it on King when VKM said that he could possibly be making that much if you watch the faces of HHH, Jericho, and Show they're all just kinda like yea, sure. You can see they're almost holding back laughing. Just VKM's response, the way he kind of stuttered and thought about his response, which for him is very strange, you can tell that it's just complete bull shit.
