Earlier this summer, Lupe Fiasco dropped two songs with two different messages. While on "Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)," we saw Lupe speaking on how the American Dream may be flawed, he also released a song commenting on a word we are all familiar with (for better or worse) in "Bitch Bad." The video expands on the song's story arc of a young man and woman in three acts, growing up with the impact of that word, and what it means to each of them.Watch Lupe Fiasco's "Bitch Bad" after the jump.Appearing on RapFix Live today to premiere the video, Lupe spoke about the need to bring the discussion of the word to the forefront. "I just wanted to have a conversation, just to put it out in the world and discuss it," he said. Lupe also told Sway during the interview that the main target of that conversation is kids. "That's why we put the children in the video," he said, in aims to involve them in a discussion that is already important to their lives. Using provocative imagery and wordplay is nothing new to the Chicago rapper, but here Lupe hopes that he isn't the one doing the talking. "I'm saying it to get you to talk about it." Well said, Lupe... or not said. You know what I mean.+ Watch Lupe Fiasco's "Bitch Bad."
