Highly decorated Brazilian Jiujitsu practitioner, Robert Drysdale just won his third straight bout since making the jump to professional mixed martial arts. Fighting once again for the Armageddon Fighting Championships promotion, Drysdale kept his unbeaten record intact with another quick submission victory over UFC veteran, and fellow BJJ Blackbelt in Mike Nickels. Here's the footage from the co-headlining bout on AFC 6:
Mike Nickels is also a talented grappler himself, having won a few jiujitsu tournaments including a gold medal in the Pan-American BJJ championships, but Drysdale just showed how Black Belts aren't created equally. With this third quick submission finish in a row, his MMA career now has a total time of just 4 minutes and 22 seconds.
A few more wins and it is likely that we see him on a much bigger stage, and it would really be interesting to see how his MMA game progresses as he gets more experience and slowly creeps up the stacked light heavyweight ladder.
AFC 6: Quick Results after the jump, which includes John Salter's TKO victory over fellow UFC veteran, Kalib Starnes, on the second round of the night's headlining bout.
