Punk and Carlito involved in more backstage shenanagans apparently.....

- According to several people, there is some tension between Punk and Carlito. It stems from Carlito being really jealous of Punk and his push. The WWE sent Carlito a message by making him job to Punk on television and by filming that dating skit with Santino.

This ought to piss the smarks off....

- Colt Cabana and Ace Steel were originally supposed to be Edge's lackeys. The plan was for Ace Steel to be the serious wrestler, while Cabana was supposed to be the comedy wrestler. Edge was all for this. This didn't happen because Edge was injured during the Mardis Gras gimmick with Kane. They decided to use the Major brothers instead and Ace Steel was fired.

Punk would pull in more money than Carlito anyways and Carlito knows it, so he can stfu.

Too bad we won't see Cabana for a while. I would have liked this idea, but really don't know how they would have worked it out, seeing as how Cabana doesn't have long hair. (Don't know about Steel)

Hmmm interesting about Cobana and all that. Sounds like it was just shitty luck on his part, but if he's as good as I keep hearing he is he'll get his chance.

As far as Carlito-Punk, that seems kind of Blue. I'm not so sure if I believe that one. I mean jobbing to punk isn't like jobbing to Snitsky or something. Also the commercial, while very Blue, does get Carlito exposure and such. So I'm no sure how much stock I take into that report.

Shit that would have been great to see all three members of the Second City Saints on WWE TV. I would have marked out like a 12 year old girl ...Like HHHforever said just shitty lucky with Edge going down with that injury in July. Colt and Ace would have done a much better job then what The Major's are currently doing, but oh well that's wrestling shit happens.

^^^I agree. The Majors have done nothing. They do not have their own identity nor have they given the crowd a reason to care. I thought this would be a big push for them, however, after this Edgehead storyline they may very well be out of the WWE. It hasn't even helped Edge, he was more over on his own.

Also, it would be pretty cool if Punk turned heel and brought in Cabana and Steel as his henchmen. That would be a million times better than Edge and his Edge guys.

^^^Absolutely agreed. Edgeheads are fucking Blue and BORING, this idea would be much better and the Punk one is good as well. He doesn't have to go heel either, he can stay face and still bring em in to match Edge's stable.

Ace Steel was recently released by WWE, I have no idea why but they did Hopefully Colt doesn't suffer the same fate.

I think Ace got released because he's older than most 'development' wrestlers, he could be training them by now. They got screwed over with not getting called up, but I think it would've ruined them if they did get the chance.

NO! Ace and Cobana were going to be Edge's lackeys? Why in the blue hell did they give the gimmick to the Major Brothers? They just look like carbon copies of Edge. It would've worked much better with Ace being serious and Cobana being the comic relief...

I doubt all these reports of Carlito being so unhappy are true, but if they are, he really needs to either shut up or leave. TNA would snatch him up in a heartbeat, and if he doesn't want to go there, he has the WWC.
