Universal Wrestling Alliance was created April 8, 1954. A man named Charlie Cosgrove founded it. It went head to head with WWWF, the World Wide Wrestling Federation owned by Vince McMahon Sr. until Charlie Cosgrove eventually bought it out in 1959 although, since then Charlie apparently stepped down as owner and gave the position to someone else whom is unknown. Since 1959 though, UWA has been the most dominating company in Sports-Entertainment. UWA has had such legends as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and Dusty Rhodes wrestle for it. Charlie Cosgrove has since passed and his son whom is named the same ran the company until a since unknown man took over the company. The UWA currently has no real opposition except for WCW & TNA whom merged recently into one company which is TNA and it is no major threats at the moment. UWA currently has one TV Show which is broad casted on the USA Network. The show is titled Monday Night 'Ignition' and has been rating excellently since it signed with the network a few years ago. UWA has 7 Pay-Per-View's a year generally once every two months with the occasional 3-Hour Supershow. The Pay-Per-Views are listed lower down in this thread. UWA also has 3 active titles, The UWA World Heavyweight Championship, the UWA Prodigy Championship, The UWA World Tag Team Championship. The UWA Intercontinental Championship is the second major title close behind the World Heavyweight Championship.

UWA's Roster has been the home for many of wrestling's finest including UWA Legends Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Billy Kidman & Dusty Rhodes. Here is the current roster.

Notable Past Events

The Montreal Screwjob: The Montreal Screwjob happened on November 9, 1997 at Survivor Series in Molsen Square. Shawn Michaels and the then owner ultimately screwed Bret Hart out of the championship thus Bret left for WCW, which has since been bought by TNA. That was the last time Bret Hart was shown on UWA Television.

Chris Jericho's SAVE_US Return: Chris Jericho left UWA in 2002 to pursue his career in music with his band 'Fozzy'. UWA fans thought that was the last time they would see Chris Jericho appear in UWA. But that all changed when on the June, 12 edition of UWA 'Ignition' after weeks of SAVE_US.222 codes coming up on the screen, Chris Jericho finally returned.

Shawn Michaels' Consecutive Gauntlet for Glory Wins: Shawn Michaels became the second person two win two consecutive Gauntlet for Glory matches. He is the first to be successful with the victories and go on to Wrestlemania to win the UWA World Heavyweight Championship.

The New nWo: On Monday April 28, 2002 something unbelievable happened. A group that dominated WCW in its prime was reborn with some new and some old members. The nWo's music hit at the beginning of an 'Ignition' and the crowd went wild as Chris Jericho, Triple H, X-Pac & Kevin Nash walked down the ramp to run wild as, the new nWo.

Elijah Burke's Streak: Elijah Burke debuted in 2006 as an exciting young prospect in UWA. Since that day he debuted he has not lost once. Every match he has competed in he has won and he shows no sign of losing so far.

Undertaker's Absence: The Undertaker has been absent from television lately since he was attacked by Umaga. But Umaga was ordered to by General Manager Ric Flair.

More to be added soon.

UWA Records

I don't see any problems with Eddie and Benoit being there, as they are only as legends of the company. As I said when you PMed this, this BTB looks awesome, I hope you stick with this because it has a lot of potential and will go to the top like your other past BTBs. I will be reviewing.

Check out BTW, Krakatoa has been posted

LOL! I know what you're doing here I think. You've got lots of Main Eventers and it's pretty hard to put them all in it so you fired them. I can't wait for your show!

UWA Ignition's theme song 'Crack Addict' by Limp Bizkit play through the arena as we begin the show. Members of the crowd have their signs held up and chant for their favorite superstars.

'Sexy Boy' hits and Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring with his 6th World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. He walks into the ring and grabs a microphone.

Shawn: Boys & Girls you would all be aware that the Heartbreak Kid is going to put his career on the line when the Main Event's bell sounds and the match begins. Whoever gets pinned during that match, will be fired on the spot. When Goldberg earned that World Title shot instead of it being a blessing it was a punishment in disguised in a supposed 'blessing'. See, Bill Goldberg's career will be over when that bell sounds and the Show Stopper's hand is raised. That match, boys & girls is literally a Title vs Career match.

'Burn in My Light' hits and 'The Legend Killer' Randy Orton comes out.

Orton: Shawn, it doesn't matter who is fired during that match because like you said with Goldberg, it will be a punishment disguised in a supposed 'blessing'. Because even if either of you has-beens managed to hold onto your jobs and have the title you will have to step into the ring with me next. I will walk out of Survivor Series with a World Title shot after I defeat Triple H & John Cena in a Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match. When I win that match that certifies me a World Title shot within the next month and that title will not be around your or Goldberg's waist. It will be around mine.

'Bow Down to the King' plays and Triple H comes out.

HHH: Is that right Randy? You will be walking out of Survivor Series the #1 Contender, You will go on and beat the champion and become the World Champion. I think you've got it all wrong my friend. You need experience to be a world champion and you need talent. Randy you have been lucky and I mean lucky to hold the title once. Randy, I have held it TEN TIMES! And the King will be put back into his thrown once again when I dispose of you and Cena.

Christian Cage's music hits and he comes out.

Cage: While all of you guys talk yourselves up I am getting ready. Getting ready to embarrass Sting at Survivor Series. Because, at Survivor Series Team Cage will completely eliminate every single member of Team Sting except for one, Sting. We will leave him last so it is five on one and we will completely beat him senseless and we will be the true champions at Survivor Series because That's How I Roll!

HHH: Am I the only one that doesn't know how that made sense?

Crowd laugh

HHH: Christian there's a reason you're not in the World Title picture, because you're a creepy little bastard!

Crowd laugh again

Christian: Who th...

'Wooooo' hits and General Manager of 'Ignition' Ric Flair comes out.

Flair: Wooooo, You four seem to have a problem with each other right? Well lets allow you guys to let off your steam. Tonight will be a one night reunion for D-Generation X when Shawn Michaels & Triple H take on Randy Orton and the creep.. Christian Cage, Christian Cage is what I was going to say.

Cage looks pissed off

Flair: Also, I thought I would give you guys the heads up that if you, Triple H & Shawn Michaels think that you will get an advantage in the match by having your fellow DX member interfere then you thought wrong because X-Pac will be facing Kip James w/BG James tonight in a singles match. Wooooo.

'Woooo' hits and Ric Flair retreats backstage.

Commercial Break

King: Well what a Main Event we have planned tonight! A one night original DX Reunion, Shawn Michaels & Triple H taking on Randy Orton & Christian Cage! Plus we have Elijah Burke attempting to go 32-0 when he takes on Ken Doane, formally known as Kenny Dykstra but has since changed to his real name. Ken Doane has been taken under the wing of Batista and has been learning a lot from the former World Champion. Batista requested for Ken to be booked in this match because he believes that he is capable of ending the streak.

JR: Well we will soon find out, after the break!

Commercial Break

'Don't Waste my Time' hits and Elijah Burke comes out.

JR: Well I have been very impressed with this young man. Since his debut in 2006 he has been undefeated. He is currently 31-0, can he go to 32-0 after this match?

King: I think he can, Elijah Burke is one of the best young stars I have ever seen.

Ken Doane's music hits and he makes his way to the ring with Batista.

JR: Well this young man could be remembered as being the man to end the streak of Elijah Burke. Batista would definitely be a good mentor and I think it is possible.

King: No, I don't. I don't think it is possible, well not from Ken Doane thats for sure.

Match 1
Elijah Burke vs Ken Doane w/Batista

Burke confidently circles around the ring and then locks up with Doane. Burke kicks knees him in the gut and Ken nurses his stomach as Burke taunts the crowd cockily. Ken finally recovers and Burke nails a 4-Up punching combo that knocks him back to the canvas. Burke taunts Batista as he slowly drops to his knees and hooks the leg of Ken, 1...2 Ken kicks out. Burke gets back up and turns around where he taunts the crowd some more but this time Ken recovers quicker then Burke expected and rolls him up, 1...2 Burke kicks out. Burke is angry and goes for a right hand but Ken ducks and spears him to the ground and unloads some left & right hands to the face of Burke who struggles to block them. Ken gets up and starts measuring Burke. Burke slowly gets up and walks into an R-K-Doane! But he pushes Ken away to the ropes and has a breather but Ken just rebounds off the ropes and whips Burke to the opposite ropes. When Burke rebounds Doane jumps up and connects with a swinging back elbow smash that knocks Burke down immediately and Doane makes the pin, 1...2... Burke kicks out. Ken gets up confidently and yells out '31-1!' the crowd give a mixed reaction.

Ken turns around and picks up Burke by his hair and guides him to the corner where he unloads some more rights and lefts. He then retreats back to the opposite corner and charges at Burke in search of a clothesline but Burke moves and Ken is groggy in the corner. Burke runs to where Ken came from and signals for the Elijah Express and... He nails it! Ken falls down and Burke hooks the leg, 1...2... Batista pulls Burke off! Batista then picks up Burke and nails a Spinebuster. The referee rings the bell.

Winner - Elijah Burke via DQ

Batista continues the assault and picks the helpless Elijah Burke up and nails a thunderous Batista Bomb. Security and referees come in and restrain Batista who is absolutely out of control because Ken was going to lose. Ken starts to recover and he starts to attack Burke until security restrains him as well.

King: Well Batista is obviously not happy with the would-be loss to Ken but in the end Ken lost anyway due to his interference.

JR: I know King and could we see Batista book a rematch between these two in the near future or is Batista just going to let it go? Something tells me he won't let it go.

King: No, I agree JR.

Commercial Break

Backstage with Maria

Maria: Ladies & Gentleman I am here now with World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels. Shawn, what are your thoughts on your match tonight? You are having a one night reunion of DX and you are taking on Randy Orton & Christian Cage.

Shawn: Maria, The Heartbreak Kid only has one thing on his mind. That thing is winning. It doesn't matter if I am in the ring with Triple H as my partner, it doesn't matter if I am in the ring with Hulk Hogan as my partner. All that matters is that the Show Stopper is here to stop the show and Randy Orton & Christian Cage will have their show stopped!

Maria: Uhuh and what are your thoughts on Survivor Series when you take on Goldberg in a 'You're Fired' Match for your World Heavyweight Championship?

Shawn: Like I said, The Heartbreak Kid has one thing on his mind, winning. I will go out there and stop Goldberg's show.. For good!

Michaels walks off.

JR: Well Shawn Michaels certainly made a statement towards his partner Triple H & their opposition Randy Orton & Christian Cage as well as Goldberg, his opponent at Survivor Series.

King: I know, I saw JR. Shawn Michaels seems fairly confident in himself and I don't blame him considering what he is capable of.

JR: Yes, but it isn't good to have a big head King.

King: Yeah it's not like I ever had one of those.

JR laughs.

5...4...3...2...1 'Break Down the Walls' hits and Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring.

JR: This man will be participating in a traditional 10 man elimination tag at Survivor Series. He is a member of Team Sting.

King: That should be a good match JR, Sting & Christian have been at each other's throats for a while now.

'This Fire Burns' hits and CM Punk makes his way down to the ring.

JR: Another impressive young member of our roster, CM Punk is also a member of Team Sting and he will be teaming up with Jericho tonight.

'Kennedy!' hits and Mr. Kennedy makes his way down to the ring.

JR: This cocky young man will be teaming up with Booker T. Both of them, very cocky but still very talented. Booker T is a legend of this company.

King: I know, JR. Booker T has held the World Heavyweight Championship four times.

'Can You Dig it?!' hits and Booker T comes down to the ring.

King: Like we said, here is a true legend of the company.

Guest
The Small Show said:
this looks good, great roster and backstory. i wish you well BKB with this BTB in the future. after the last one you did with Gards, this one hopefully will just be as good. good luck brian. i'll be reviewing.
Thanks for the compliment :)

Opening promo: Great hype for Survivor Series. Not only that, but it also set up the rest of the night. All four men were really in character. Great way to start off the show.

Ken Doane vs Elijah Burke: Nice way to put Elijah over, as he would have won a short match. I see a push for Doane, as he has a ‘mentor’ like Batista. Not a bad match, and it underlined Burke’s talent.

Shawn Michaels promo: Very in character. More good hype with Survivor Series. You seem to use Michaels really well.

Chris Jericho and CM Punk vs Mr Kennedy and Booker T: An all action match with a few nice moves, like the running cross body from Jericho on Booker on the floor. Flowed well, and you were always alert on all four men’s conditions.

Jeff Hardy/ John Morrison confrontation: Was good. You let us know that they have been feuding, and also set up a great match. Morrison was really good in the heel role.

Shelton Benjamin vs MVP: It was alright, and I know the purpose was the quick roll up, but I still feel the match should have been longer. MVP got no real offence.

Flair promo: Was just a quick promo to keep DX away from ‘trouble’. Nothing really to comment on.

X-Pac vs Umaga: I guess that is AJ Styles joining DX? I would have liked X-Pac to go over someone else, not Umaga. I just feel Umaga’s character needs permanent momentum. A short match that Umaga was dominating until AJ interfered. Nothing to really comment on again.

DX promo: A nice little DX promo. You really had HHH down well here.

DX vs Cage and Orton: Well, I think the finish was a bit weird, but I think I understand what you were going for there. The match was relatively even, making everyone seem strong. It was a pretty good match and a great closing to the show.

Now for the conventional review.

BM: Tornado tag match.
WM: N/A, because as I explained before, they all had a real purpose, and all of their purposes came off.
BP: The opening one was good, but as a fan of Morrison and Hardy, I’m going to go with Morrison/ Hardy.
WP: You were very consistent with your promos.
AC: I am guessing that you wrote this show, then realised you had too many main eventers. My question is, what are you going to do with Survivor Series? Are you still going to have people like Sting and Christian Cage involved?

Moving on from that question, I felt it was a great way to start off this new BTB.
