Updated news on WWE Network

- DirecTV issued a survey to subscribers on Friday to gauge interest on the WWE Network. The plan would be to charge a separate monthly fee for the WWE Network. WWE would show 11 of their 12 pay-per-view events on the Network with WrestleMania being the pay-per-view left out. For those wondering, you would still be able to purchase those 11 events even if you didn’t subscribe to the Network.

Only good thing about it is that they'll show the PPV's. I expect that channel to be mostly recap since that's all WWE does now.

I don't think you'd need to subscribe AND order the PPV. You'll be able to order the PPV's regardless of you subscribing to the network.

For years I've read that the WWE Network would be doing something similar to this, the only thing that changed is what PPV's wouldn't be counted among the "free" ones. At one point is was the big four wouldn't be, and I think I read at one point the big four would be the only one's "free". Oh well, this is a good decision in my opinion however I still have zero faith that the Network will ever actually take off so I'll believe it when it happens.
