- Apparently The Great Khali's WWE contract does not allow him to return to India without company approval as he filmed a movie, Rama the Savior, the last time he was home, some additional post-production work was needed and they couldn't get him back to India to finish it. Several of the actors had to be flown from India to Los Angeles to complete the project where Khali was.

- The backstage segment on RAW recently where Ted DiBiase was seen talking to Cody Rhodes behind Randy Orton's back was done because there is a thought of eventually turning DiBiase and making him a top babyface star. The plan is that they want him to be a strong babyface by the time The Marine 2 is released on DVD this year. As noted earlier, Ted DiBiase Sr. recently said at a speaking engagement that WWE was planning on turning his son face for The Marine 2 release.

Good idea from the WWE. I really do want DiBiase to have a fresh start and hopefully have some success.

Why would Dibiase need a fresh start? Mark my words, if he breaks away from Legacy at any point before next February, he'll be released. He can't stand on his own as a heel or a face yet. I still don't like the idea of him being a face at all at any point, if anyone turns face, it should be Cody, but if Ted is going to turn face, there's no need to start the hints now.

There is not enough time to build up DiBiase as a face before the end of the year. Unless he goes over Orton clean several times, which just isn't going to happen.

Why's that? Because he wont be taking beatings for Orton anymore? Or standing in the background while Orton talks?

^Lol. No denying that currently, he isn't being built up well, but I would hope they have a plan. Either way, he would amount to nothing by going out on his own yet. He would fail horribly. I'm not too upset that him and Rhodes haven't been pushed great yet. I'm a little disappointed, cause I thought they'd have had more development by now, and be workign better by now, but the one thing that I keep in mind is that Evolution didn't get going strong until mid-2003 (and they alligned themselves in later 2002). I'll give them a bit more time before I critisize the way Legacy is booked too much.
But regardless of what you think about it, having him branch out on his own right now isn't going to make it better. He wouldn't be in the main event, and would only be in the midcard, but wouldn't have any big way of developing his character. If he goes out on his own already, he would just float around the midcard, and eventually proably be released. Even if he wouldn't get released, it's still pointless, because he would be far worse off by going off on his own. He hasn't gained any momentum yet, what would he do as a singles guy?

I think that he'd be better off now branching off on his own. There's no character development at all with him or Rhodes. Sure when he breaks off from Legacy he'll be in the mid card. If he broke off in 3 months he should be in the mid card. With the way they have him, he'll be mid card as he doesn't have enough development or (don't know what the word is i'm looking for but insert that here) to be a main eventer right now, 3 months, no time soon. I think he has a better chance with out Legacy. He barely gets any time to show off his skill. His in ring work, his mic skills, charisma, character, nothing. We don't know what he can do. We saw more of that in Priceless than Legacy.

That's what I'm saying though. Give them a chance to have his character develop. I'm disappointed in how it's going so far as well, but what I'm saying is, it's been a relatively shrot time so far. Legacy only really officially formed in January, so it's been about 4 months. If they don't have anything good going in another 4 months, I'd say they need to put him out on his won, cause it'd be clear nothing is getting done, but right now, I guess we can't expect a huge character out of him.
Putting him on his own wouldn't allow him to do anything any more than he is now. Do you think for a second if he was to split from the group right now, that he'd actually get good promo time? Or actually get to "show off his skills">? If so, that's your fault for thinking that. If he went his own way right now, there's not a chance he'd be pushed. He'd just be doing nothing. Might as well leave him in Legacy so he has a chance to develop. Putting him on his own, he'd continue to do nothing, and then WWE would lose interest, and he'd be fucked.

He might as well turn face, it's not like he's setting the world on fire as a heel. I prefer Cody as a heel over him actually. But please be a character with some depth and development, not the usual OH I GOTS TREATED BADS LOOK 4 REVENGAH~!.
