Update on Jericho/Mysterio

» As seen on SmackDown in recent weeks, Chris Jericho has started a program with Rey Mysterio. The two are feuding because Jericho requested working with the high flying superstar. The feud actually started during the company's tour of Europe last month with Jericho "accidentally" unmasking Mysterio in various matches. Jericho is very hands-on when putting his programs together, and given his track record, this feud looks to have great potential.

i think Jericho could win the IC title tonight and defend it with gold promos and always be on top of rey in the feud. Only for rey to put his mask on the line soon.

Jericho knows this is what people want, and he's always said Mysterio is one of his most respected opponents, he had a lot of fun in the WCW matches.

I think that's just it though, they never had a highly-credible feud, and Jericho is miles and miles better than he was as a character in WCW, being able to work the mic and the crowd. It'll give their matches an entirely new dimension. Really looking forward to seeing what they'll bring to the show the next (hopefully) couple months.

But anyway, Jericho is a vet., he can actually suggest to the writers and he can get what he wants. Good thing and I hope that this will lead to some interesting outcomes during their feud.

Does anyone feel the "held back" at Judgment Day? The match was awesome, as expected... but I know we can expect more from the two of them.

If they did, I think it's a good thing to build the entertainment as the feud progresses, rather than TRY to top it when you're not sure you can. I know these two can have a 4 1/2 * or even 5 * match.

I think Jericho is one of the few people that Mysterio actually meshes well with. I'm not entirely fond of Mysterio holding the IC title while this is going on. BUT... if this results in Jericho grabbing the IC title one more time, giving him someone else to rant about, I'm all for it. It would then be a great vessel for him to put over Morrison if they choose to go that road.
