Update On Cena's Dad; Background, Injury Angle, More

WWE.com is running with the Cena Sr. injury storyline from RAW last night. As posted in the past, Cena Sr. sometimes works as heel manager Johnny Fabulous in the Northeast indy promotions. This comes from WWE.com:

BOSTON – After getting punted in the skull by Randy Orton, John Cena’s father was taken to a local medical facility, where he is being kept for observation and will undergo a CAT scan. The WWE Champion accompanied his father to the hospital and has not left his side. Officials say Cena’s father was knocked unconscious during the attack, and suffered a cut above his left eye from the blow of Orton’s boot. He has since regained consciousness.

You know I havent been a big Orton fan but after what the guy done last night I am starting to see why people are calling the biggest heel in the WWE at the moment.

First Edge slapped Cena's dad now Orton! I don'tknow how long they gonna keep this storyline up. Perhaps bring Bob Orton to fued with him aswell. I could see the SS ME now. Team Orton vs. Team Cena with his dad on his side to get revenge.

I hadnt seen the video of what happened to Cenas dad, then I saw fanatics sig and that looks painful! You can say wrestling is fake and all that but there is no way that is not gonna hurt!

Thats whole sequence with Cena's dad was ridiculous.

I couldn't tell if Orton was being overly stiff or if Johnny Fabulous has never taken a bump. First, Orton dropped him on his head, then the punt was an actual kick. He didn't graze people like he normally does.

im all in this. one of the best endings i've seen on raw for time. but having orton to bang cena's GF was a better idea lol. seriously though, its the best thing that could've happened to keep booker, cena, hhh and orton in the same picture.

I have to agree. Not being big on Orton to begin with, and having been actually suprised to enjoy there match at Summer Slam I couldn't help but wonder how the WWE was going to continue this angle. Orton got beat, how do you justify another title shot? But the angle the shot with Cena's father was perfect. You thought this fued had heat before Summer Slam? This is going to be even better if handled properly, which so far so good.

Yes it was an old school match between Orton and Cena. It was back and forth where neither man really had the upper hand throughout the match. A lot of old school ring phsycology.
