WWE.com reported Tuesday that Bobby Lashley is suffering from a shoulder injury and will report to Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham for a diagnosis.
A preliminary check by WWE's Dr. Ferdinand Ross suggested that Lashley might have suffered a rotator cuff tear in his left shoulder.
WWE.com's report said that Lashley suffered the injury during his RAW match with Mr. Kennedy, although the word going around is that Lashley was injured going into the match and that Kennedy's "target the shoulder" offense was merely to create a storyline background for a preexisting injury.
According to PWInsider.com, Lashley has been pushing through shoulder pain since first hurting the bodypart at WWE Backlash. Dr. James Andrews initially looked at his shoulder in May, but it was decided at the time that he was able to continue working.

-- Bobby Lashley's shoulder injury forced WWE to drop the developing feud between Lashley and Carlito in favor of the Lashley-Kennedy match that provided a storyline basis for Lashley's injury.
-- The word going around is that Triple H will return at the 8/13 tapings to begin his Summerslam program with King Booker.

VINCE McMAHON MAY TRY AND MURDER ME:
ME ON CNN: DOCUMENTARY:
CNN did a 2 hour interview with me last week for a 1-hour documentary they are doing on wrestling, steroids, Chris Benoit, drugs, death, etc. When they contacted me to do it, I wasn't sure that I wanted to because when it comes to those topics, a wrestler has 2 choices: #1 be honest and possibly really hurt the business of wrestling or #2 lie and protect the business. I still love wrestling and have tons of friends who still do it for a living.
But, people are dying and Vince McMahon has done virtually nothing to stop it or at least slow it down. And I agree, it is not his job to baby-sit the wrestlers, but I do believe in Spiderman Morality: "with great power comes great responsibility." It IS Vince's responsibility to treat the wrestlers well and to treat them fairly. And because of the power he has attained through questionable methods at best, I feel it is his responsibility to really deal with the problems. Like I said, I talked for 2 hours. They have a lot of material. I may only be in the documentary for a few minutes. Depending on what they choose to air, Vince may legit want to kill me, I may appear to hate wrestling, I may appear bitter or mad. Or I may appear exactly the opposite. It should air in the next week or month....who knows. But it should be interesting whenever it does. I will keep you updated.

ND graduate back in pro wrestling spotlight
Beth Phoenix (formerly Beth Kocianski) is on WWE primetime show.
Notre Dame High School graduate Beth Carolan, who performs under the name Beth Phoenix, worked long, hard years to achieve her goal of making it to the big time in professional wrestling. But just a few weeks after joining the cast last year of World Wrestling Entertainment's primetime show, she broke her jaw in a match. The injury ended her run on the show.
It was, she said, one of the most heartbreaking things ever to happen to her.
But the mythical phoenix is best known for rising from the ashes, and that's just what Beth has done. Some 13 months after her injury, Beth, who was known as Beth Kocianski growing up in Elmira, is back in the spotlight on WWE's Monday night show "Raw." She returned to the program July 9 and is again a regular.
Beth responded to questions in an e-mail interview while traveling for WWE. She wrote that the support of her friends and family kept her from losing heart while recovering.
"I'm very lucky that I have a great support group back home that really did their best to keep my spirits up," she wrote. "As hard as it was to be away, I never thought about giving it up. The feeling of being back in front of the crowd was enough to keep me going."
