Upcoming movies based on comics

I'm not really sure how much of an interest there will be in a thread like this so to start I'll only mention 1 upcoming movie based on comics but if everyone likes it or wants to know about more I know a few more.

I'll start with: The Dark Knight

It will have as the cast-

Christian Bale-Batman/Bruce Wayne
Heath Ledger-Joker
Maggie Gyllenhaal-Rachel Dawes
Michael Caine-Alfred
Aaron Eckhart-Harvey Dent/Two-Face
Morgan Freeman-Lucius Fox

Plot :
Batman and Gordon find alliance with a newly appointed DA Harvey Dent to stop a vicious killer with a warped sense of humor known only as The Joker, a threat to both the good, and the evil of Gotham City.The Joker is expected to be more sinister and less of a prankster in this version and Batmans detective skills will come more into play.

So anyone interested in this type of thread, please post and let me know and I will continue with new movies.

actually, i was going to make a thread about the new batman movie but not too soon. they released some pics on imdb.com they didnt change the batsuit its not bad but i just dont like the yellow thing..

anyway, been waiting for the movie since they 1st announced producing it lol.

anything on the new dare devil thing? i heard that they'll make a sequel.

oh yea, and i heard some shit about iron man. its gonna be released in april...

Iron Man is in production, yes. Robert Downey Jr. is playing Tony Stark. also Gwyneth Paltrow and Samuel L. Jackson are in it as Pepper Potts and Nick Fury respectively. the villain is Mandarin. Jeff Bridges and Terrence Howard are also in it. I saw some footage from the movie at ComiCon. it looked really good despite the fact that it wasnt fully completed.

DareDevil 2 is supposedly coming. Ben Affleck wont be in it. i dont think Jennifer Garner either. Michael Clark Duncan, John Favereau, Joe Pantoliano and Ellen Pompeo are signed though. Im not really lookin forward to it though. The first one was a huge dissappointment.

And I was waiting for Punisher 2, but since Tom Jane dropped out, I'm not sure it will be worth it.

daredevil 1 sucked too so why make daredevil 2?

its like saying they are making hellboy 2 (WHICH I HOPE THEY DONT.. HELLBOY SUCKED AND HAD NO PLOT! WORST MOVIE EVER!!!)

Nope I have never liked anything Spiderman. Ouch, it felt disloyal to say that as he is a comic book hero, but he just doesn't do it for me.
Tom Jane WAS the Punisher. The new guy, Ray Stevenson? Who is he? But maybe it will be ok.

Wolverine's story is definitely in the works but I don't know alot of details yet except it will show him before the adamantium skeleton and part of it will take place in Japan.

no i like the games and comics but the movies suck!


im not a big fan of wolverine either.

I liked Daredevil comics they are pretty good. Daredevil movie...? whoever told Ben Affleck he could act? Aside from his roles in Kevin Smith movies the man has never made a decent movie.

Hellboy 2 is in production, I am actually lookin forward to it, I fairly enjoyed the first one.

hellboy 2 will just suck like part 1 did.. i wont see that pos movie

wolverine I WILL See. maybe they will start with the Weapon X project then his time in Alpha Flight.. that would be cool.

Silver Fox is supposed to be in it so more than likely yes to Weapon X and Alpha Flight. Probably also some appearances by Omega Red and Silver Samarai.

hmmmm OMEGA RED.. they shold have a great battle scene where wlvy fucks up that russian scum.. silver samarai should be in a scene where he fights in Japan.

Yuriko should be in it too as he was with her after Silver fox died in the comics

i cant believe i forgot about this, any word on the new superman? superman returns wasnt bad as a lot of people think...atleast not in my opinion. we were left with him talking to his son....what?
