Stephen Desmond sent along the following to wrestlezone: Former WWE star Kevin Thorn will be joining Irish Whip Wrestling on their upcoming tour of Ireland beginning on April 11th. Thorn will be using new entrance music which is a metal cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" by Irish band Enemy Logic.

"Excitement2009" sent along the following to wrestlezone: I don't know if you know this, but Sim Snuka was the "camerman" that Undertaker was diving onto at WrestleMania 25 this past Sunday night during his match with Shawn Michaels.

I don't know what this has to do with anything really, it's not big news like wow but meh/ I read it and thought I would pass it on.

Ted, and Cody must be so jealous right about now.

Hahaha.... I KNEW it. Had to be a wrestler taking(*) that kind of bump and he was the only one I could think of that fit the description.

(*almost. LOL)

Still, this is cool as I actually expected to be reading about a Taker neck injury. :y:

my question is, was he the cameraman for the WHOLE show lol or was he just a random cameraman to take the hit during the match?

Snuka was probably the cameraman for the Taker-HBK not the show

If so then why? was it because non of the Camera men could take a bump or were trained to take a shot and Snuka just randomly voluntered to do so? Or could this turn into some sort of storyline? Who knows maybe Snuka wants a career in camera and photography in the WWE?

@ All above:

Holy shit.... Is it really that hard to piece together?

The average cameraman isn't trained to take a bump - Especially not one from a 300lb man diving with THAT kind of momentum - and I dare say any that would have volunteered for fun would be told "no", y'know, cos they like have a job to do and stuff. They just 'planted' Snuka as a kayfaybe cam man in place for the match, no he wasn't out there for the entire event pretending to be a real cam man and he certainly wasn't being an ACTUAL cameraman... Not even for a moment.... Can you say FAKE CAMERA????

Thank you, I didn't know it was that hard to bloody well figure out. Why would they risk having a guy like Undertaker diving over the ropes onto a guy untrained and not with any idea on how to take a bump. It could result in an injury to both parties. All that happened was Snuka was placed there, in camera man get up, and used for the spot, then he went backstage. Jeez.

It's not only for the cameraman's safety, but also for 'Taker's. The guy who he's jumping onto is meant to spot/catch him. Not that that part mattered anyway, because 'Taker didn't make it. >_>

For those keeping score in WM Moments.

Sim Snuka 1, Ted and Cody 0.

Because in five years when I'm thinking of WrestleMania moments, I'm going to think of Hogan body slamming Andre, Ric Flair's emotional last match... and The Undertaker fucking up a dive onto someone that I'll of course remember is Sim Snuka.

Dude, Sim Snuka is above those. Jeez. I think WM, I think Taker's failed dive.
