*A video sit down interview starts to play on the titan-tron, interviewer Christy McCarthy is sat down in a chair in a room backstage. Opposite her is an empty chair, for her guest she is interviewing. *
Christy McCarthy: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to a special sit down interview, where I will be going more in depth and ask the tough questions aimed at your favourite Ignition superstars. My first guest, a man that has gained a legend like wrestling fame to his name, someone who has put on classic matches in every company he has been in and who has unleashed a more ruthless side to him as of late. Please welcome Lord Fireshock.
*Fireshock walks on camera, sitting down in the chair opposite Christy McCarthy. He is wearing a five thousand suit, with a glass of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti wine in one hand*
Christy McCarthy: Lord Fireshock welcome.
Fireshock: At last someone on this interview team, who gets my name correct to the letter. Do excuse Christy, I was simply enjoying a glass of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti. This wine cost thirty thousand dollars, how many people can afford such a beautiful beverage as this. Remarkable taste.
*Fireshock finishes his glass of wine, before placing it on the table next where he is sat*
Christy: So, Lord Fireshock, since signing with Ignition you have put on a classic match with Chris Young and last week you defeated Jay Washington. In both matches, we saw a side of you we rarely see. Why the sudden change of approach in your matches from you?
Fireshock: Christy, when I was a young lad in the England they teach you many things. One lesson that, I learnt was that in life if you want to stand out do anything possible to bring, that spotlight and attention to your direction. This side of me, has always been there. But I have chosen for the longest time not to use it, within my matches, however there has been a change of tactics. One key lesson I discovered a long time ago was this, those who are unwilling to evolve and adapt are always the one that fall first. That is why, I don’t just want to just defeat my opponents, but to leave a mark on them. So, that they get the message, that Lord Fireshock is no man is underestimate or to mock. That is a foul’s move.
Christy: Going back that comment, your career speaks to itself. You are one of the most respected wrestlers in the industry, so why do you feel you are being underestimated?
Fireshock: That, is a very simple to answer. This business Christy is a game, a game of survival. Do you want to know why I am still wrestling today after all these years?
*Fireshock points to head*
Fireshock: This Christy, this is my ultimate weapon. Any fool with my wealth behind himself, would spend it all at once, but me I calculate every move of where, that money goes and using it to its best possible purpose. This mind plans every move, calculates every step and every tactic of the person standing across from me in that ring. Nobody comes close, that is why washed up peasants such as Amazing H and Tony Soccer-boy are not here. They could not think on my level, they did play the game to their gain and thus are here not wrestling in this company today. I study every tape of my opponent over and over to perfection. Their history, their styles and goals. When done right, you can turn that against them and out play them. Like pawns on a chess board, to my King.
Christy: One last question before we wrap up, your opponent Todd McKay seems very confident and saying it in a recent interview. I quote his words “I don’t really care about him right now”. How do you feel about that comment directed to you?
Fireshock: A fool’s mistake, an unwise move on the chess board of wrestling by McKay. This is preparation of my king, crushing that prawn. McKay this is your biggest match to date, I am begging you to underestimate me. I will not be on the receiving end of those wheelbarrow face busters. Rather you will face the full force of this boot and these knees to that, side burns skull of yours. I can’t wait to execute it already.
Christy: Thank you Lord Fireshock, for your time.
*Fireshock gets up out of his chair. Before he walks off, he stops to turn to Christy. *
Fireshock: I also forgot, seeing it seems you are the only interviewer, that doing their job correctly.
*Fireshock pulls a roll of money and a card. *
Fireshock: See this as a gift for doing a far better job, than any of those muppets in the same role as you.
Christy: Lord Fireshock, I can’t take this.
Fireshock: Why not, call it a bonus from work. Also, there is this, here is my card. If you even, well feel like change from this place call this. I could use someone of your talents.
*Fireshock gives the roll of money and the card to Christy. *
Fireshock: Fireshock Industries are always hiring.
*Fireshock winks, as he puts his shades on and walks off. Christy is very happy by the gift of money, as she looks at the card unsure what to make of it. The camera feed then cuts.*
