Rate the Wrestler Day 80 - CM Punk

Lashley gets a 60, not as low as some would've hoped I'm sure, but it seems pretty fair all things considered. Last in our WWECW week, Mr. Straight Edge himself...

CM Punk has won the following titles:

ROH Tag Team Titles
ROH World Title

Amazing wrestler, great talker. One of the things I want most in the WWE right now is a real Punk heel turn.

That and he needs to stop using the Go 2 Sleep. I would love to see the Pepsi Plunge, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

8/10

Great superstar all around. He's already picking up muscle mass/weight which is good, but hes still young in his career so you cant give him any higher then an 8.5 I think...8.5/10.

i doubt he'll ever use the Pepsi plunge seeing as thats just a better version of the pedigree, and triple h is arguably the biggest guy in the company right now, so they wont make him look bad.

punk is a great wrestler, great talker, he has a good look for the business... for his size. anyways he doesn't get a perfect score simply because there are better people out there that deserve a higher score

9.5

A little generous, but the guy has it all. I have no question he's bound for greatness and could be the cornerstone of the wwe once Cena moves on.

Of course you can give him higher than an 8.5.... He gets a 9.5 from me. (ROH Bias, so what?)

He's got an unique look, he's been over with the WWE fans since day one, and he got a bigger pop than DX (that's HBK and HHH) I'm still waiting for the day that Punk is in a long match so he can show people just how good he is. Part of me doesn't like that he's "borrowed" KENTA's moveset, but since most casual fans don't know KENTA its new to them.

As for The Pepsi Plunge....Dream on. Its doubtful he'll ever use that in the E.

As of right now, I'd have to say 8.5/10, simply b/c he has yet to win a WWE/ECW Title. Once that day comes, he will become at least a 9 in my book. He has pretty much all the skills you need to be a GREAT Wrestler, so thats pretty good for now

9/10 When pushed in the right direction he will go far, otherwise in WWE's case so far hasn't been far at all.

9/10 He's a great wrestler and is leading the way, along with Samoa Joe, for wrestlers who may not have the look of a Greek God, but are still damn good wrestlers. I doubt we'll see the Pepsi Plunge in the E, as the Pedigree is supposed to be brutal enough to end a match, without the need of a top rope one...
