Following a story.
Longtime UFC veteran Marcus Davis has signed with established Canadian promotion Maximum Fighting Championship. MFC President Mark Pavelich announced the news on the HDNet telecast of MFC 28 on Feb. 25.

A member of season two of The Ultimate Fighter, Davis won his first 6 UFC fights while competing at welterweight before dropping a decision to Mike Swick. Davis then went 3-3 over his next six before making the drop to lightweight.

Davis looked pretty good against Jeremy Stephens at UFC 125 in his first lightweight bout, but Stephens eventually caught him for a third round KO. Davis was later cut from the UFC.
