Beginning this Wednesday, April 13, Spike TV will air a three-part UFC Primetime series focusing on the upcoming UFC 129 main event between UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields.

The weekly series will go behind-the-scenes with a look into the lives and training of St-Pierre and Shields as they prepare for their 170-pound title fight which will take place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on April 30.

UFC 129 is destined to be the largest UFC event in history when Canada’s own St-Pierre defends his title in front of a sold out crowd of 55,000 people in what will be the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s first visit to Ontario.

The first installment of “UFC Primetime: St-Pierre vs. Shieldsâ€￾ airs Wednesday, April 13 at Midnight (12:00 a.m. ET/PT).
