UFC Fight Night 34 card continues to fill with Kimura vs. Reyes, Holloway vs. Chope, Galera vs. Wee

The UFC’s first trip to Southeast Asia has a fight card nearing completion, as the company today announced the addition of bantamweights Dustin Kimura vs. Jon Delos Reyes, featherweights Max Holloway vs. Will Chope and bantamweights Royston Wee vs. David Galera.

Featuring a welterweight main event between Jake Ellenberger (29-7 MMA, 8-3 UFC) and former Strikeforce champ Tarec Saffiedine (14-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC), “UFC Fight Night 34: Ellenberger vs. Saffiedine†takes place Jan. 4 at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. North American broadcast plans are expected to be announced shortly.

“The Diamond’ Kimura (10-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is a 24-year-old Hawaiian who debuted for the UFC in February, earning a submission win over Chico Camus. However, he returned in September and suffered the first professional defeat of his career, losing via technical submission to Mitch Gagnon.

“The Heat†Delos Reyes (7-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is a 26-year-old native of Guam, who currently boasts a four-fight win streak. A countershot MMA fighter, all seven of Delos Reyes’ wins have come by way of stoppage.

“Blessed†Holloway (7-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) is a 21-year-old Hawaiian who will celebrate his 22nd birthday before fight night. After building a three-fight win streak with impressive victories over Leonard Garcia, Justin Lawrence and Pat Schilling, Holloway has dropped back-to-back fights for the first time in his career, losing to Conor McGregor and Dennis Bermudez.

He meets a 23-year old “The Kill†Chope (19-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who opened his career in 2010 with just a 1-4 mark but has since won 18 of his past 19 fights. A towering 6-foot-4, Chope is one of the tallest featherweights in the sport.

And in the UFC’s first-ever all-Southeast Asian bout, bantamweights Royston Wee (2-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) of Singapore faces David Galera (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) of the Philippines in both fighters’ octagon debuts.

With the addition to the card, UFC Fight Night 34 now includes:

Jake Ellenberger vs. Tarec Saffiedine
Hacran Dias vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri
Kiichi Kunimoto vs. Hyun Gyu Lim
Kyung Ho Kang vs. Shunichi Shimizu
Katsunori Kikuno vs. Quinn Mulhern
Dustin Kimura vs. Jon Delos Reyes
Will Chope vs. Max Holloway
