UFC announces 2015 return to London's O2 Arena for Feb. 28
LONDON – After Saturday’s entertaining UFC Fight Night 37 event, promotion officials wasted little time in announcing a return to the host venue.
UFC executives Dana White and Garry Cook revealed at Saturday’s post-UFC Fight Night 37 press conference that the organization will return to London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015.
It’s currently unclear if the event is expected to serve as a pay-per-view, UFC Fight Night or UFC Fight Pass event.
The UFC has visited London seven times before, including five visits to O2 Arena. Most recently was Saturday’s “UFC Fight Night 37: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa†event, which saw Alexander Gustafsson earn a second-round TKO win over the previously undefeated Jimi Manuwa.
