Following a story.

Mauricio Rua has made a major change in his camp for his rematch against Forrest Griffin. For his UFC career he has spent time training in Brazil at the Universidade da luta, a gym he owns with his brother Murilo and Andre Amade. To train for Forrest Griffin, Shogun has left the comfort zone of Curitiba, opting to train with former coach Rafael Cordeiro at Kings MMA in SoCal.

Cordeiro was Shogun's trainer during his Chute Boxe days when he was one of the hottest fighters on the PRIDE circuit. From the looks of the video Shogun's hand speed and kicking power haven't declined at all and he looks in fantastic shape. Cordeiro was great for his career and hopefully they can catch lightning in a bottle again this weekend in Rio. Despite the rumors of a nagging knee injury, his cardio looks vastly improved and his Muay Thai is sharp. Hopefully this means that the old Shogun will show up and not the one from the first fight.
