Silva improved to 13-1 with the win, and has finished 10 of those 13 fights. His debut couldn't have been scripted any better and he appears to be a very solid prospect in the tough UFC welterweight division. The fight was the third matchup on the facebook portion of the UFC 134 broadcast.

It's a tossup between the knockout and the cage flip. Both were pretty awesome.
Where do these guys go from here?
As stated above, Silva looks to be a legitimate prospect. He was scheduled to face Mike Swick in his first fight before Swick was forced out and replaced by Ramos. That would have been a tough debut for anyone, and it shows that the UFC had high expectations for Silva. Knocking out Ramos clearly isn't as prestigious as a win over Swick would have been, but he definitely made the best of the situation. Welterweight is a very strong division and he could face a whole host of guys next. It won't be Swick, because he's out for a while, but I'd guess they put Silva against a wrestler and see how he does.
Ramos was a late replacement and those guys almost always get rewarded with another UFC fight. It was an ugly loss for him though, so if he does get another shot it would likely be against a debuting fighter or something on a long losing streak. What's Dan Hardy up to in a few months?
