Vitor Belfort vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama - Round 1 - Both men throw leg kicks at the same time. Vitor with a head kick that is blocked. "Let's go Vitor" chants go up in the arena. Head kick lands for Vitor. Akiyama throws the Silva front kick and misses. Vitor pours it on with strikes and Akiyama is down. A few more and Akiyama works to his feet but Vitor opens up with a huge flurry and leaves Akiyama face down, out cold. Vitor Belfort wins by KO (punches), round 1.
