In the third PPV bout of UFC 133, Brian Ebersole defeated Dennis Hallman in a Welterweight fight. Heading into the fight, much talk was about the unorthodox nature of Ebersole, but it was Hallman who delivered the weirdest moment, competing in an extremely tight speedo. Dana White was not pleased with Hallman's attire, vowing to make it illegal, and giving Ebersole a $70,000 "getting those horrifying shorts off TV as soon as possible" bonus.

The fight began with Hallman getting the takedown and securing rear mount on Ebersole - a position made mostly laughable by the tights. When Hallman was unable to secure a submission, Ebersole reversed and took control in mount. There, he landed a heavy elbow that immediately caused swelling above Hallman's eye. Ebersole continued the ground and pound, forcing the TKO stoppage late in round 1. He is now 2-0 in the UFC.

What was the high spot of this fight?

Clearly, the moment that will most be remembered is Hallman coming out in those tights. But the real highlight was that big Ebersole elbow that turned the tide.

Where do these guys go from here?

Ebersole has already gained a lot of fans in just two fights, and should move up to a more marquee opponent next time out. If Dan Hardy defeats Chris Lytle next weekend, Hardy vs. Ebersole sounds like a great idea.

With 14 years of pro experience, it's hard to see where Hallman fits in to the UFC at this point. It's possible he could still rematch Matt Hughes to give Hughes a chance to avenge his pair of losses to Hallman, but given Dana's anger over the tights, I think he has a stronger chance of being cut.

Watch it now, later, or never?

Now, because you want to weigh in on the whole tights issue.
