In one of the year's biggest upsets, Tito Ortiz submitted Ryan Bader in the first round at UFC 132 in Las Vegas, NV.

Ortiz landed a right hook that dropped Bader and he attacked with a few strikes on the ground before sinking in an arm-in guillotine for the tap at 1:56 in the first round. Ortiz was very emotional post-fight while Bader was sullen.

Ortiz (16-8-1) is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, winning the title in April 2000 at UFC 25 over fellow UFC 132 fighter Wanderlei Silva. He defended the tittle five times before losing the belt to Randy Couture at UFC 44.

Going into Saturday, Ortiz had gone winless in his last five fights (0-4-1) with his last win coming over Ken Shamrock in October 2006.

Bader (12-2) won the eighth season of The Ultimate Fighter and was undefeated in five UFC bouts before losing to Jon Jones at UFC 126 by 2nd round submission. He's now lost two in a row.
