Carlos Condit knocked out Dong Hyun Kim in the first round of UFC 132 Saturday in Las Vegas, NV, the third straight fight on the card to end in a first round KO.
The end came when Condit threw a flying knee that connected flush on Kim's chin, dropped him to the mat. Condit swarmed and threw a flurry of left and right-handed hooks that ended the fight at 2:58 of the first round.
After losing his UFC debut, the final WEC Welterweight Champion Condit (27-5) has won four in a row with T/KO finishes in his last three.
With the win, he handed Kim his first defeat (14-1-1-1). Kim entered the UFC in May 2008 and is 5-1-0-1 in the UFC. Random side note: all of Kim's UFC fights except one (UFC 88) have been in Las Vegas.
