Tito_Ortiz_vs_Ryan_Bader_large.jpg
The Ultimate Fighter 8 winner Ryan Bader (12-1, 5-1 UFC) will look to get back on the winning track after suffering his first career loss to Jon Jones when he takes on UFC legend Tito Ortiz (15-8-1, 15-7-1 UFC), who will be looking for his first win since 2006. Tito's future in the UFC is riding on this fight. This light heavyweight UFC 132 fight will be the third bout on the pay-per-view broadcast that begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

How do these two stack up?

Ortiz: 36 years old | 6'2" | 74" reach

What have these two done recently?

Bader: L - Jon Jones (SUB) | W -http://forums.wrestlingsmarks.../mma/fighter/122584/rory-macdonald Antonio Rogerio Noguiera (UD) | W - Keith Jardine (KO)
Ortiz: L - Matt Hamill (UD) | http://forums.wrestlingsmarks.../mma/fighter/122897/amir-sadollahL - Forrest Griffin (SD) | L - Lyoto Machida (UD)

How did these two get here?

Ryan Bader is a two-time All-American wrestler who started off his UFC career on The Ultimate Fighter 8, and cruised to a six-figure contract. He had won five fights in a row in the UFC over the likes of Keith Jardine and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira before meeting Jon Jones at UFC 126, where he was choked out in the second round. He is looking to rebound from that loss and stay in contention in an increasingly deep light heavyweight division.

Tito Ortiz probably needs no introduction. He was the UFC light heavyweight champion for 3 1/2 years and defended the title five times before dropping it to Randy Couture. He has had a wide range of injuries that have kept him limited to one fight a year since 2006. He has lost his last four fights to mostly top-level competition. A loss to Bader would likely lead to the UFC showing Ortiz the door.

Why should you care?

Ryan Bader might send Tito Ortiz right into retirement. Either that, or Ortiz will win his first fight in like 14 years. Either way, it the outcome will be momentous.
