Melvin Guillard has been around the UFC for a long time, but it looks like he's finally getting his act together and is working towards the top of the division. He has always possessed the athletic ability and the skills to be a contender, but he wasn't able to put it all together. He's now 7-1 in his last eight fights, and is coming off arguably the biggest win of his career when he finished top prospect Evan Dunham at UFC Fight for the Troops 2 in January. Another win here puts him right in the conversation in a crowded lightweight division.
