UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz has put out a video blog through kimura.se before his UFC 132 bantamweight title defense against Urijah Faber, and it's not bad. The first part of the blog is Dominick talking about his wrestling career and how his friend got him into an MMA gym and he was hooked after the first day. He then discusses his first trip to San Diego, which came about because of a fight he took on 24 hours' notice and ended up winning. His coach Eric Del Fierro (who was the promoter of the fight) was impressed with Cruz and invited him to train in his gym.
Eventually Cruz moved to San Diego to finally get coaching, as he had be entirely self-taught up to that point. Del Fierro offers some interesting perspective to Dominick's stories, and it's definitely worth a watch. The middle part is about four minutes worth of a training montage which is a little strange, but the start and end are pretty interesting.
