In my opinion, I think this one has to be special.
Post your thoughts and what match cards you would like to see (your dream matches) as the number 100 would stand out solid for many years to come.

I agree, it has to be special. However, UFC never really puts any emphasis on their milestone PPV's. All of 25, 50, 75, didn't really have anything special. UFC can't have a WrestleMania type feel because it would be a very stupid move to put all the good fighters on one epic card. They have to fill 12 PPV's a year and spread their good fighters out equally since they need a couple months to train in between. Let's say they stack the card with 6-8 of their top names, then those 6-8 guys couldn't fight for a couple months, who would sell those PPV's? That's the thing that kicks the fans ass in MMA, you can't have a mega card.

^That's a good point XBA, but UFC 75 wasn't special? Jackson vs. Henderson unifying the UFC and Pride belts? Rua/Griffin.

Damn...you got me there...that was some pretty good shit. I just don't see any monumental moments like that that could happen this time around. Bring back Randy Couture? You might see him way before UFC 100. Gracie? Highly doubt that. They might do a champion vs. champion thing maybe. Silva moves up to HW while being MW Champ? lol, that would kick ass

^ Sliva in HW would be sick..

I agree with the point that they can't have a mega card but still something the fans would remember... 100 is a huge milestone. it is a significant number so IMO the card would have to stand out.

See, that would be an ideal event for Couture vs. Fedor IMO.

I don't see it being a Ceremony/Celebration type thing, where they give out Awards for best Knockout so far, stuff like that, but it would be pretty cool.

I don't think Dana is a Vince McMahon though, he isn't a total sap. He cares about the product not the packaging. He would just want the best fights he can produce.
